Drakon flew over the clouds in the sky while he carried everyone on his back. Flying sent chills down through his wings, a feeling he had been longing for for so long. Emerald asked if he could fly high above the clouds  so that no one would spot them. She said that everyone would be able to survive, so it wouldn't hurt them.
He didn't mind flying above the clouds; in-fact, gliding above the clouds is where he felt most at home. He soaked in the undeterred beams of sun rays glistening across his scales. As the wind gust through his ears, he felt a unique sensation of Euphoria.
After awaking from his long nap, he was finally free. Not only was he free, but he had friends. A concept that was only introduced to him mere hours ago.
Though they were now his 'friends', he was tempted to eat two of them, but Emerald convinced him not to.
Emerald was the first to befriend him.
Emerald was the first of the meatlings to understand him. He was delighted to have someone he could communicate with; Drakon no longer felt alone. He had spent so much time at the mercy of mere mortals, but now he was friends with one. It was a bizarre yet wonderful feeling.
As Drakon soared through the skies, he could peer through the clouds. His eyesight was immaculate, and he could spot strange things on the ground below. He saw more meatlings traveling on paths of rock. He saw tall mountains that were unlike anything he saw before. He also spotted tiny felines that looked like delectable meals.
Emerald reigned Drakon in and told him that the felines weren't food.
She promised to get him food later, though they needed to find somewhere to settle first.
Drakon flew a rapid speed so they could find a place to rest.
After a few moments, Emerald pointed to a small square mountain with metal husks in-front of it. Emerald told Drakon to land in the desert area behind it so no one would notice him.
Drakon had no reason to hide; he was proud of who he was. But if his friends asked of him to hide, then he would do it.
He dove to the ground at a moderate speed so not to have anyone fly off his back.
Once he landed, everyone exited his back and rested on the desert floor.
Emerald commanded him to fly off and find somewhere to hide and rest.
She promised to bring him back food, and told him not to go too far so she'd be able to contact him.
He followed her command and flew off at a brilliant speed to find somewhere to isolate himself.
