New Settlement

Drakon had been flying for over an hour, helping his friends search for a new place to rest.
They attached a large bag filled with cloth to his back leg so he could help carry it with him.
They had flown far away from the desert and were now in a cooler environment. While it was still hot, the air had more humidity within it.
Beneath them was a large forest; it was surrounded by mountains that stretched high towards the clouds.
Some of the tree blanketed over the mountains, and from where the group was flying, it made the mountains appear to be green.
They flew over the mountains until they say a large group of strange square mountains, like the ones Drakon had seen before.
A city; that's what Emerald taught him it was called. The strange mountains he was looking at were called buildings.
Emerald had taught him a lot about the new world he was living in. It was different from the one he knew when he fell asleep, but this one was unique, advanced.
Though many things were still the same; everything was still about kill or be killed.
This was an instinct Drakon knew would be with him until the day he perished.
Although in this moment of his lifetime, he had friends. He was devoted to do anything to protect them.
Emerald requested that he land on the top of the mountain closest to the city. She said that they would all get off and walk the rest of the way. Drakon hated that he couldn't spend time with his friends, but he knew that it was best that they not be seen with him.
He settled down near the mountain top, and everyone piled off of his back.
Lance untied the bag from Drakon's leg, while Drakon surveyed the surrounding area.
He was trying to get a feel for his environment, and better understand it.
His friends were reading themselves to head down the mountain.

Emerald came up to him patted his nose and said, "We'll be back soon".

Before she turned away Drakon made a sound with his mouth that sounded like, 'Ivald'

Emerald looked at him confused, and once again said, 'Invald'.

Emerald looked at him concerned and said, "Are you okay sweetie; talk to me".

Drakon fixed his mouth in one final attempt he said, "Emwald".
