Greg was hiding outside of the Chief Technical Center by a collection of trees. Everyone else was also crowded by shrugs, and bushes.
Ernest couldn't find one thst properly hid him, so Emerald generously summoned one from the ground for him to hide behind.
They had moved in closer as they saw a group of men enter the building. They couldn't make out who was leading the men into the building, but James theorized it was the head scientists who had also experimented on the group- Dr. Sari.
That name gave Greg a splitting headache, and he wasn't sure why.
Greg already had enough headaches as it was. He had been trying to make sense of the dream he had yesterday, and came to the conclusion that they were memories.
Clearly the second half of his dream was from the time he was being experimented on. But he still couldn't put together what the first dream meant.
He was so close to putting it together, but something was blocking his mind from knowing the whole story.

"Greg, you with us?", Lance whispered to him from a few feet away.

Greg shook his head and said, "Yeah... I'm with you."

Lance turned his head toward James, who was squatting behind the bush right next to him and said, "Okay, run down the entrance route again."

James reached into a duffle-bag head slung across his shoulder, and pulled out a small circular device. He tapped his finger on the top of the device, and a holographic image of the center appeared before the group.
It revealed all of the inner workings of the building, including a series of underground networks and tunnels.

James pointed to the lowest tunnel and said, "This tunnel goes about two hundred feet below ground. It connects to a basement area; this is most likely where the good doctor is holding her little ceremony. There's a connection of air vents large enough for three people to fit inside of; all of them lead towards the downwards tunnel."

"How did she even manage to book this place for an illegal auction?", Ernest asked.

"My guess is that one of her buyers must own this building", James explained.

The group had already planned how they were going to separate themselves into groups. Four teams of people would go down the shafts that were adjacent to the tunnel. Each team would have one of the groups strongest members present, Incase any unexpected barriers arise.
Lance was going to lead Emerald and Ernest down the southern shaft.
Ronald was going to lead James and Ahmir down the eastern shaft.
Ronnie was going to lead Sanai and Irvin down the northern shaft, and Greg was to head alone down the western shaft.
Greg had cold feet about going alone, but he stayed it was safest for him to be by himself. In the event that Greg was spotted he could easily teleport away.
Lance tried to argue him out of it, since he was the one that the doctor was most interested in obtaining.
But Greg convinced him that he'd be okay.
James let the group know ahead of time that they were on a strict schedule, and they couldn't afford to make radio contact with one another.
Once the groups broke off to their locations, they were on their own.
Each of the had a watch on their wrist that was set for fifteen minutes. That was the amount of time they had  if they were going to make their coordinated attack.
With no more time to spare, the group headed towards their marked destinations.

Before they were completely separated, Sanai grabbed Greg's hand and said, "Please stay safe in there, we don't know what's gonna' happen. At the very least, try not to get recaptured."

Greg didn't say anything, he just nodded in response. Greg wasn't sure why she had been acting so strange as of the late, but he could tell she still cared about him.
Over the short few days they'd been in more than enough life or death situations. They'd bonded, connected, and lived together. If Greg was going to make sure anyone survived, it was going to be Sanai.
Greg teleported himself into the building.
He had found himself in a storage area next to the vent that led to his shaft. Exactly where James told him it would be.
It was freezing cold on the inside of the storage room, and the entire place smelled of harsh cleaning detergents.
Not being able to stand the smell, Greg teleported himself inside of the vent.
It was a tight squeeze, and he had to crouch down, but he was able to fit.
He started walking through the vent slowly but at a steady pace.
He couldn't teleport further down the vent, because they weren't sure if any robots would be stationed inside the vents.
If they were, he would just be teleporting himself into an enemy ambush, and possibly put any other robot guards on alert for his friends also.
He had to take things slow and steady.
He checked his watch and saw that it read 13:43.
He had to keep moving, otherwise he wouldn't be able to make his way down in time.
As he moved through the vent, his mind kept going towards Sanai and the others.
It pained him not to know if they were safe or not. He told himself he wanted to make sure Sanai made it safely foremost, but the honest truth was that he wanted everyone to make it out alive.
The further he walked down to the basement, the deeper a sinking feeling in his stomach became. He could feel something terrible heading their way, he knew with certainty that a trap was waiting for them. Every few feet he wanted to turn around, grab the others, and and escape.
But he couldn't, he had to trust his friends like they trusted in him; he couldn't let them down.
As he made his way down he started to hear a collection of voices coming from the pathway in-front of him. He then began to see a light shining; he assumed it was the vent opening.
He checked his watch and saw the it read thirty seconds.
He walked down at an even quicker pace, and made it to the vent opening.
The voices became louder, and the light shines brighter. He couldn't see anything through the grates, but he could tell he was in the right spot.
He looked down at his watch.

Five seconds

He readied himself to teleport through the grate; hoping his friends made it on time.

3-2-1...

Just as he was about to teleport, everything around him went black, and he began to pass out.

What happened next was a blur; Greg couldn't tell where he was at first. He heard a muffled scream of his name. The scream made it sound like he was underwater, listening to someone try to talk.
Gradually, his senses started to come back to him, and he could make out who was calling him.
It was Sanai; he strained his eyes to look and see where she was calling from.
She was a few feet in-front of him, but she was kneeling down and tied up.
Greg then noticed that he was tied up as-well.
Greg looked around and saw that the same thing had happened to all of the others. They were all tied in chains, and above them stood the same type of robots that they fought before.
Greg peered at his surroundings and noticed that they weren't in a basement, but on a a large stage.
In the crowd sat hundred of business men in suits who were all staring at the captured victims intently.

"Now that the main attraction has arrived, we can begin", said a voice behind him.

The voice made Greg break out into a sweat. His heart beat quickened, and his mouth became dry. He knew that voice; he had heard it from somewhere before.

The source of the voice walked around him and made itself present. At that moment, Greg's entire mind began to break down. He now remembered everything that happened to him over the past few weeks with exact clarity.
From the moment he was abducted, to the experiments that tortured his body and mind.

In a strained voice he managed to say, "Why... why would you do this to me?".

Before him stood the girl from the bookstore cafe. The girl who he had come to call a friend after the past few weeks of them getting to know one another. The girl he had went on dates with; the one who he introduced to his mother. The one who lured him into a trap and slaughtered everyone around him when he became aware of her intentions. Before hm stood Sari.

"My beloved Greg", she said with an almost warm tone. "I'm so happy that you managed to find your way back to me; I've waited so long for you to get here. You can sleep now, my dear Nefarious."

With those words, Greg's eyesight faded into darkness as he passed out on the stage.
