A robot was in an abandoned crematorium, getting ready to burn thirteen bodies.
The room had all tile floors; the only object in the room was the giant cremator on the side of the wall.
The robot used its metal hands to turn on the dials, and activate the machine.
The bodies were all lined up on the floor, and were stuffed black body-bags.
As the fires rose, and the heat in the room spiked, the robot began to make its way towards the bodies.CREMATION PROCESS TO BEGIN. THIRTEEN DECEASED READY TO BE CREMATED.
Body-by-body, the robot entered the bodies into the fires and let them burn. The room smelled foul, but the robot could not notice as it did not have a nose.
It continued to shovel the bodies enter the fire, after the previous ones were done burning.
Within twelves hours, the bodies were all properly cremated.CREMATION PROCESS COMPLETE. RETURNING TO BASE.
The metal-being began to exit the crematorium, when it spotted another body-bag across the room. It analyzed the bodies contents, and discovered an extra body was inside of it.
ERROR. UNIDENTIFIED BODY DETECTED.
The robot unzipped the bag to reveal the body.
It was a male in his mid-twenties, wearing a military tactical uniform.ERROR. ALL BODIES WERE TO BE STRIPPED OF FACILITY UNIFORMS POST-TERMINATION
The robot scanned the body to analyze its vitals.
ERROR. VITALS SHOW SUBJECT IS STILL ACTIVE.
As quick as he could, the man sat up towards the robot and stabbed it in an open circuit near its neck with a screwdriver.
He pulled out another screwdriver and stabbed the robot in its optic.
The machine spurred and buzzed, as it tried to operate itself properly.ERRO-. BOD CONFIR AS HEAD GUARD JAMES DAVIS WHO WAS CON-CON-CON-CON-CON CONFIRMED K.I.A.
"Your boss needs to update her firewall", he said, as he jammed the screw driver further into the robot's cranium.
The machine sparked with electricity, and fell down with a mighty thud.
James removed himself from the bag, and stood over the robot. As he looked down on the machine he said, "I can't believe these were my replacements".
He removed his screwdriver from the robot's optic and began to dismantle the robot. He rummaged through its parts for ten minutes until he found what he was looking for.
From out of the robot's chest, he pulled a computer chip."Let's see if I'm right about you, Dr. Sari", he whispered to himself.
From his body-bag, he took out a black laptop.
He powered it on, and inserted into it the chip he retrieved from the robot.
The computer screen displayed a series of files and documents.
At first the screen read, 'Unauthorized Drive', but James was able to by-pass it with ease.
Within the files contained details on upcoming dates, bank statements, and data sheets."So you're so vain that you only let your little trinkets access your person database", he said, in an irritated tone. "Bet you never thought it'd be used against you".
He tapped into the bank files, and input a code that would transfer all of the funds to his personal bank account within seventy hours.
Just enough time for him to disappear.
He searched through the other files, and discovered that Dr. Sari had a meeting scheduled in seventy-three hours.
The location of the meeting was in Silicon Valley, at a local tech-facility.
James's blood boiled with excitement; he wanted nothing more than to take revenge on his former boss.
While angry, he was still reasonable. He knew that he couldn't take her on. She was far too protected by her metal soldiers, and had resources at hand that made her invincible.
If he wanted to exact his vengeance on her, he needed to be coordinated about his approach.
He sat on the tile floor of the crematorium, and thought for a minute.
He needed a way to properly sabotage her, and possibly kill her.
That's when he came to an idea. As much as he resented Dr. Sari; he knew her very well. She was calculating and prideful, yet paranoid.
The woman valued her work above all else, including a human's life. The reason being is because she saw herself as above human. James knew better than to believe that she was.He remembered a phrase she once told to all of her employees, 'As knowledge is power, and power is absolute. We have defined ourselves as the absolute unquestionable power'.
Those words rang through his ears; he knew nothing would distress her more than to have her power questioned.
He knew that he needed to find people with an absolute resolve to kill her. People he knew would share in his anger. People who were more than mere mortals.
He input multiple codes into his laptop, in attempt to track down a tachyon particle signature.
He saw that multiple robot units were also tracking down the same signature.
He tapped into his computer, to redirect their scanners, and provide them with false information.
Once he was done, he was able to find the exact location of the signature.Oakland, California.
