The Strong Are United

Lance had grown tired of destruction.
He had just watched dragon tear through an entire building that very morning; he figured he had seen enough for one day.
But, there was no rest for the weary that night.
An explosion had just landed in Lance's motel room, and launched humans Ronald twenty feet into the parking lot.

"Just this one night, I had hoped for a decent sleep", Ronald complained as he laid flat in the dirt.

Lance groaned, "No such luck I suppose".

Ronald and Lance tried to pick themselves up, while another explosion erupted from the motel building.

"You think everyone is okay?", Lance asked.

Soon they saw a six foot tall ball that seemed to be made out of wood, rolling towards them.

"This shit cannot get any weirder", Ronald said.

The ball collapsed into piles of stick, and in the middle of the pile stood Emerald. Inside of it with her were Ernest, Ahmir, and Irvin.
Emerald was unscathed, but the three boys looked like they were ready to set hell on fire.
Sanai and Greg ran out of Greg's motel room, confused on what was going on.
Lance was slightly confused on why they were together, but he didn't have time to think about it.
The motel manager came rushing out of his office in a frenzy.
He was wearing flannel pajamas, and looked like he just saw a the worst image of his life. Considering that his motel was on fire, he just might have.

He ran up to Lance and Ronald and yelled, "THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY MY KINDNESS; YOU BURN DOWN MY MOTEL?! I LET YOU STAY HERE FOR UNLIMITED NIGHTS UNTIL YOU CAN PAY ME BACK, AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?! WELL SCREW YOU I'll HAVE YOUR ASSES FOR THIS, I'L FU-".

The old man's rant was cut short, because before he could finish telling him off, a blade had entered through his throat.
He gargles and gagged on his own blood before his fat body fell to the dirt with a loud thud.

ALL WITNESSES HAVE BEEN DEALT WITH

The group knew the sound of that voice; they all looked up and saw their worst nightmare.
Hundreds of robots were hovering in the air above them. Each of them staring down at the group. Their sickly, yellow optics made them look like a monstrous group of constellations.

PATIENTS DETECTED.
ALL PATIENTS SHALL BE TERMINATED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE.
PATIENT-XI SHALL BE CAPTURED.

Greg looked like he was about to throw up, "Me? Why am I so damn popular?".

"I think it's the hair bro", Irvin said to him.

Lance looked around to see if everyone was accounted for.

"Wait, where's Ronnie?", Lance asked.

"I'm here", Ronnie emerged through the flames of the burning motel building with a slightly irritated look on his face. "Damn robots, they burned down all of the Sativa they had back there".

"Good, now that everyone's here, how are we going to escape?", Ernest asked.

Lance looked around, and he realized that there was no possible way of escape. 
Even if they called Drakon, he wouldn't be able to outrun all of those robots forever.
Lance looked and Ronald, and Ronald back at Lance.
They had a look in their eyes like they knew what the other was thinking.

"We have to fight our way out", Lance said.

"Fine by me", Ronald said, as he ripped off a sleeve of his shirt that was on fire.

"I guess you're right", Ernest said half-heartedly.

"I'm down", Irvin said.

"I'm already irritated, and I need to let my anger out", Sanai added.

"As long as I don't get captured by these things", Greg said with a bit of a laugh.

Ronnie turned to Emerald and said, "Hey can you grow another tree real quick?".

She complied, and touched the ground. A y'all tree quickly spouted out of the ground.
Ronnie then touched it and drained all the energy from it until it was a lifeless husk.

"It isn't human energy but it's good enough", Ronnie said.

"I'll do my best to kill as many as possible", Ahmir said, in his usual mellow tone.

"Yeah, let's kick some ass!", Emerald said, in a cheerleader-like voice.

The group faced towards the hoard of robots above them.

Lance and Ronald looked at each other one more time and said in unison, "Let's go!".
