TVD: S3E50 - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Alexis' POV

It's been a week since Tyler was turned into a hybrid. I've only seen him once at my latest doctor appointment. And have been avoiding him ever since. I'm in the kitchen having a glass of water when Elena appears in work out clothes. "Bit early for a run isn't it?" I ask her.

"I'm training with Alaric before school" she states. "Why are you up so early?" she asks as she makes herself some breakfast.

"Adrianna  thought it'd be fun to make her mother nearly pee herself and has not stopped moving all morning" I tell her. She smiles and places a hand on my stomach. Adrianna kicks it.

"Feels like she wants to train also" she states.

"Yeah well my bladder is not a punching bag" I tell her and she chuckles.

"What's on your agenda today?" she asks me.

"I'm going to school, do a couple of classes. Then am going to look at an apartment available in Alaric's apartment complex" I tell her smiling.

"Are you going to buy it?" she asks me.

"Maybe, John and Jenna left as all money. Also Carol insists on helping as I have not accepted moving in with her" I state.

"Why not?" Elena asks me.

"I'm going to have a baby and I don't want to burden her with a newborn in the house. She'll say it's fine, but I have to learn to look after her myself. But she will be looking after Adrianna when I go back to school" I tell her.

"How long will you be off school?" she asks me.

"Two - three months, I'll be doing my studies online" I state. Just then Alaric appears. "Have fun you too" I say and they leave to go train. I go have a shower and dress for school. I just grabbed my keys when there's a knock at the door. I frown and go answer it to see Stefan. "What are you doing here?" I demand.

"I'm ordered to look after you and Elena. A girl in your condition shouldn't be driving, so I am your ride to school" he explains.

"I can drive myself" I tell him as I step out of the house and lock the door.

"Remind me again who crashed her sister's car last year?" he asks me.

"Fine" I grumble and he leads me to his car. He drives us to school and I thank him. Before joining the girls.

"Here we are. Senior year" Care says.

"Yep and I'll be doing most of it online" I say.

"Lucky you" she says.

"Anyone else think it should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asks us.

"Okay. So prank night was a bust. But we are accepting it, and we are moving on" Care tells us.

"You're right. I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie asks.

"Yes! And why should I let the fact that my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day" Care says.

"Or that I am going to become a mother to that hybrid's baby" I add.

"Today's our anniversary. Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year" Elena says.

"Yeah, you both win" Care tells us.

"Are you sure you both want to be here?" Bonnie asks us.

"It was the deal I made, I have to be here two more weeks before I start studying from home" I tell them.
