TVD: S2E34 - The Descent

Alexis' POV

I'm at school and find Tyler helping prepare for the Booster BBQ. "Tyler!" I call. He turns and smiles. "Sorry we didn't talk yesterday, I thought you'd like a day to process. How was last night?" I ask him.

"It was terrible, I hope the baby never has to go through that" he tells me.

"They won't, we won't let him or her trigger the curse" I promise him.

"Good, I have to go. But can we meet at the grill later?" he asks me.

"Sure, I can tell you my baby name ideas" I tell him smiling.

"I'd like that" he says smiling gently. He leaves me. Matt joins me.

"Hi Matt" I say smiling.

"Hey Lexis, have you seen Caroline?" he asks me.

"No, which is surprising. I thought she would be at the center of the preparations" I tell him. "Anyway I'm gonna go, I have things today" I state.

"Ok, we should catch up sometime" he tells me.

"We will" I promise and leave him. I decide to go to the grill early as I'm hungry. I arrive to seem Alaric and Stefan there. I ignore them going to the bar to order food. "Hi, can I have the pasta salad please?" I ask.

"Sure, do you want a drink to go with that?" the bartender asks me.

"Just a water please" I tell her. She nods her head and I pay. I sit down as she gives me my water. Soon Stefan joins me.

"Alexis, whatcha doing here?" he asks me.

"Eating and waiting for a friend" I tell him.

"I think you should take your food to go" he tells me.

"Why?" I ask him confused.

"There's another wolf here, she bite Rose last night" he tells me.

"I'll take my pasta to go" I tell the bartender, she nods and leaves. I look to see Damon arrive. "Damon's here" I tell Stefan and he leaves to talk to his brother. My food arrives in a take away container and I leave.

I go to the fountain and sit down at a bench. I eat my salad. I then relax looking up at the clouds making shapes. When Tyler appears looking a little upset. "Ty, you ok?" I ask him concerned.

"Yeah, just something with Caroline" he mumbles. "Glad we ran into each other, I'm meeting someone at the grill. She asked me to bring you" he states.

"Why?" I ask him confused.

"I called my uncle and left a message on his mission before the full moon last night. I was scared and I may of said you were pregnant with my baby" he tells me. "The girl is a friend of Mason's and heard the message meant for him. He's missing" he explains.

"It was suppose to be only family until my second trimester" I grumble.

"I know, I'm meeting her now" he tells me.

"You promise not to leave me alone with her?" I ask him worried.

"Don't worry, I won't leave your side" he promises me.

"Thanks Ty" I say smiling and we start to head for the grill. "So while we walk there, what to hear my baby name ideas?" I ask him.

"Sure" he says smiling.

"I really like the names Adrian and Adrianna" I tell him.

"Adrianna is beautiful, but I'm not sure about Adrian" he tells me.

"Jeremy suggested his name" I add and he chuckles.

"We are diffidently not naming our baby Jeremy" he tells me.

"Agreed" I tell him. We enter the grill and he leads me over to a table. Where a girl Mason's age is already sitting.

"Thank you for coming, you must be Lexis" she says smiling.

"It's Alexis, only friends and family call me Lexis" I tell her.

"So what do you want from us?" Tyler asks her.

"Just to be your friend. Mason would have wanted that. I know about Mason, you and the baby" she states.

"You know nothing of my baby" I tell her.

"Know what?" Tyler asks fawning confusion.

"I know you're a werewolf and your baby has the gene. I know your little friend Caroline is a vampire" she states.

"How do you know about Caroline?" we demand. Tyler looks at me surprised.

"You can't sniff them out?" Jules asks him. He says nothing. "Oh my god. You're brand new. How many times have you turned?" she asks him. Tyler doesn't answer. Jules leans over and places her hands on his and mine. "Hey, I can help you both" she tells us.

"I don't need or want your help" I tell her. I pulling my hand away from her. "I'm leaving, you had better not come near me Jules" I state. "Bye Tyler" I say and leave them. I go home to see another car in the drive way. I frown and enter the house. "Elena, who's car is outside?" I ask.

"Hello Alexis" John says scaring me a little.

"John, what an unpleasant surprise" I say. Elena and Stefan appear. "Elena why is he here?" I ask.

"Stefan was trying to find Isobel and got John" she states.

"Like I don't have enough problems, you didn't tell him right?" I ask her.

"Of course not" she assures me.

"Good, I'm going to bed" I state. "Good night" I say and leave them. I change into my pjs and do my teeth. Then crawl into bed and place a hand on my stomach. "No one will hurt you my little wolf, not even those stronger then me" I promise. I don't care how strong the foe, no one is going to hurt my baby.
