TVD: S2E23 - The Return

Alexis POV

Elena and I enter the kitchen to find a bloody John on the floor. He has a few fingers missing. I rush over to try stop the bleeding as Elena calls 911. "Hi, I-I need an ambulance to 2104 Maple Street" she says panicked.

"Behind you" John whispers.

"What?" I ask him.

"Behind you!" he says louder. Elena and I both turn quickly, to see no one there.

"Elena go check on Jeremy, I'll stay with John" I tell her. She nods her head and grabs the bloody knife. She leaves room to go search for Jeremy and I hear a door slam. I look up to see no one there.

"Jeremy!" I hear Elena shout. Suddenly the ambulance arrives and the paramedics take John. Stefan arrives and I follow him upstairs worried for Jeremy.

"What happened?" Stefan and I ask the pair.

"He said that Anna gave him her blood and then he took these pills and now...I mean he looks fine but then again so do you. So, I just...I don't know" Elena explains. Stefan has Jeremy look at me and looks into his eyes.

"Should I call a paramedic up here? What should I do?" I ask Stefan.

"No, he's fine" Stefan assures us and we sigh in relief.

"You mean I'm not a vampire? Damn it!" Jeremy says.

I slap him. "Don't you dear say that Jeremy" I say tearing up at the thought of him being a vampire. Of leaving Elena and I.

"Jer, why would you want that?" Elena asks him as she holds me.

"Did you hear about Anna, what happened to her tonight? She's dead" he tells us.

"So are a bunch of other vampires, it doesn't matter" I tell him. "I can't deal with this, I'm going to the hospital to see Caroline" I state and leave them. I hear them say they'd watch Jeremy. I drive to the hospital and go to the waiting room. "Bonnie how's Caroline?" I ask her.

"She's weak. They don't know if she's going to make it" she explains. I tear up and she hugs me.

"Is there something that you can do? Like a spell or something?" I ask her.

"She doesn't know how" Damon states joining us. "Do you?" he asks Bonnie.

"No, I don't" she agrees sadly.

"No, you don't because it took Emily years to learn a spell like that" Damon explains.

"Well, I can take down a vampire, that spell was easy to learn" Bonnie retorts.

"I can save Caroline with my blood" Damon states.

"No way, not after what just happened with Jeremy" I state.

"Just enough to heal her, it'll be out of her system by morning. She'll be perfectly safe in the hospital" he assures me. I look at Bonnie, what does she think? Is it worth the risk?

"Do it" she tells him. "This is Caroline. We can't let her die" she states.

"I agree, do it" I tell him and Bonnie leaves.

"I know this is probably the last thing you want to do right now but we should talk about what happened tonight" Damon tells me.

"Yes a tomb vampire broke into my house and nearly killed John and Jeremy tried to turn himself into a vampire" I state.

"What? When? What are you talking about? After I left?" he asks me shocked.

"You were there?" I ask him confused.
