TVD: S3E53 - Home Coming

Alexis' POV

"You know I'm surprised your going to home coming" Elena says as I get ready for the dance.

"Caroline would kill me if I didn't go" I tell her. "Are you sure we can trust Mikael and Rebekah?" I ask her.

"I'm gonna dagger Rebekah and Damon has a plan encase Mikael double crosses us" she tells me.

"Let me guess, he didn't tell you the plan" I say.

"You're right" she says. "You just stay with Bonnie or Caroline" she tells me. I assure her I while. I haven't met Mikael, they all want to keep me away from him due to my pregnancy. Which I am fine with as I don't wish to put my baby in danger. It's bad enough Caroline is making me go to home coming. "I have to go dagger Rebekah, Caroline will pick you up" she tells me before leaving.

Later Caroline calls me telling me the gym has been flooded. "So, does that mean I don't have to go?" I ask her hopeful. My shoes are already killing me and I only just put them on.

"You wish! No, Tyler is moving the party to his house" she tells me.

"Kegs and beer pong for Homecoming? That's...different" I say. "And I can't even drink" I add.

"Just say you're still coming?!" she begs.

"You're my ride" I remind her.

"Right, I'll be there shortly" she tells me and hangs up. I sigh and take my shoes off. I go to the foyer without them and put them back on as Caroline arrives. I get in the passenger seat and she starts to drive us to Tyler's.

"Hey Lexis, how's Adrianna?" Bonnie asks me.

"She is good, but I am so ready to meet her" I tell her.

"We all are" Care tells me smiling. "She's going to be the cutest baby ever" she states.

"I don't care what she looks like, I'll love her either way" I tell them smiling. We arrive at Tyler's. There's a rock band playing in the garden; everyone from the school is there. We enter the house together. "How did he plan a better party than you so fast?" I ask Care confused.

"I don't know, is that a band outside?" she asks us.

"Who are all these people?" Bonnie asks us. I look around and notice I don't recognize some of them from school. 

"This is weird! Where is Tyler?" Care asks us and we shrug. Suddenly we hear a trying crowd and follow the sound to a stage. Klaus steps onto the stage to address us.

"Good evening everyone! I wanna thank you for being here with me to celebrate! It's been a long time coming" he says smiling.

"There's Elena, I'm gonna go tell her Klaus is here" Care tells me.

"OK, I'll stay with Bonnie" I assure her and she leaves. "Bonnie, I'm thirsty" I tell her and we go get some water. Soon Caroline finds us and drags us onto the dance floor. Until Tyler pulls Care and I away taking us to his room. I sit on his bed and remove my shoes sighing in relief.

"What are you up to with Klaus?" Tyler asks Caroline as soon as he shuts the door.

"Uh nothing" she tells him honestly. As she doesn't know about the plan.

"He is on to you, Caroline. Whatever you all think you're about to pull off- he's two steps ahead of you" he tells us.

"Okay, I don't know what you're talking about" she tells him.

"You're lying" he states.

"Actually she's not, we don't know anything Tyler" I tell him. "But even if we did, we wouldn't tell you about it, because you are sired to team Klaus now. And you can't be trusted" I tell him.

"So can we please just go back to the party now?" Care asks him.

"Do we have to?" I whine wanting to sleep. Caroline wants to leave but Tyler takes out a syringe and vervains her; she goes down unconscious. "Tyler!" I exclaims.

"I'm sorry Lexis, I have to protect you three" he tells me. He calls Matt and Matt comes upstairs. He asks what Tyler did to Caroline. "It's just vervain. She'll be fine. But I need you to get her and Alexis out of here as fast as possible" Ty tells him.

"What's going on?" Matt asks him.

"Something's going down against Klaus and this house is full of hybrids like me that can't let anything happen to him" Tyler tells him.

"What do you mean can't?" we ask him.

"I can't explain it. I can't fight against it. I just know that I need to protect him no matter who gets in my way" Tyler explains.

"By attacking Caroline?" we ask him.

"I'm protecting her and you!" Tyler exclaims looking at me. "This is the only way to keep you all safe" he stresses and looks back as Matt. "Please. Just get them out of here safely. Get everyone out" he pleads and leaves.

"Come on, I'll take you both home" Matt tells me. He carries Caroline to his car and we drop her off first. Before he takes me to my apartment.

"Thank you for tonight" I tell him.

"Just doing my duty as godfather and friend" he tells me smiling. He places his hand on my bump and Adrianna kicks it. "We have another fighter on our hands. Like her mother" he says smiling.

"We sure do" I tell him smiling. "I wonder if they succeeded" I muse.

"Guess we'll find out tomorrow, you should go rest. You've had a long night" he tells me. I nod my head and thank him again before he leaves. I lock the door behind him and got ready for bed. I lay down on my new double bed and soon feel into a peaceful sleep.
