TVD: S4E69 - The Rager

Alexis' POV

"I still can't believe that happened to you, the deputies were suppose to protect you" I state.

"Yeah well, at least I'm alive" Tyler reminds me.

"True and that's the main thing" I state as we reach the front door of his house. He opens the door and we enter the house. To see two men in the foyer talking to his mother.

"Who the hell are you two?" Tyler demands as he hands me Adrianna.

"Language Tyler" I say as I place Adrianna on my hip.

"Tyler, it's okay. They're here for your protection" Carol tells him.

"More deputies?" Tyler asks incredulously.

"They didn't protect him in the hospital" I state. Klaus enters the room from the parlor. He has another hybrid following behind him.

"Not exactly" he states.

"They're hybrid" I grumble as Tyler sighs.

"I was halfway to Chicago when I heard you were attacked. I had hoped to leave Mystic Falls for good, but duty calls" Klaus says.

"Nice to know you care" Tyler says.

"I don't. I should have killed you for the little stunt you and your friends pulled. Stopping my heart, leaving me in a coffin to rot" Klaus states and I stand in front of Tyler.

"You won't touch him Klaus" I state.

"Vampirism suits you Alexis, as does mother hood" he tells me.

"Get to the point, why are you here? If you don't care?" I demand.

"Yeah, well you used my body as an escape hatch, then kissed my girlfriend. So, maybe we're even" Tyler states.

"Not even close. But, you hybrids are a dying breed. I can't make more of you, and I won't have anyone taking liberties with the ones I have left" Klaus states. "Consider them your new bodyguards" he adds pointing to the hybrids before leaving.

"Well I have somewhere to be, take care of Adrianna and I'll collect her this afternoon" I say handing her to Tyler.

"We'll take good care of her" Carol tells me.

"Be-careful out there, I don't want you to get hurt by that hunter" Tyler states.

"He doesn't know I'm a vampire, I'll be fine" I tell him. We hug and I kiss Adrianna's forehead. Before leaving and go to my car. "Can I help you Klaus?" I ask.

"Heard from Elijah lately?" he asks me.

"Not really, I feel like he's avoiding me" I state with a frown.

"I may know why" he says with a smirk.

"If you know, tell me" I tell him.

"I think I'd rather watch you figure it out for yourself" he states.

"Then leave me alone and make sure you hybrids take care of my daughter & her father" I tell him. I get into my car and drive off. I go to the Boarding house and collect my things along with Adrianna's. Then go to the apartment where Matt is waiting.

"I invite you in Alexis" he says with a smile. I smile and unlock the apartment entering it. He helps me unpack. I then go back to the Lockwood Mansion to collect Adrianna. When I arrive I see a strange girl holding her and snarl. I flash over grabbing Adrianna from her and push her into a wall.

"Stay away from my daughter" I snarl. The girl growls at me flashing her wolf eyes. I hiss showing my fangs and eyes.

"Whoa, cool it you two" Tyler says appearing in between us.

"Why was this stranger holding my daughter?" I demand.

"Our daughter" Tyler says and I glare at him hotly. "This is Hayley, she helped me break my sire bond to Klaus. She came to visit and I left Adrianna with her for a moment while I went to the loo" he states.

"I don't care who she is, no one is allowed to hold our daughter unsupervised" I snap. "I'm taking her home" I state.

"Are you sure you should be driving in this mood?" Tyler asks me.

"I'll be fine, stay here with Klaus hybrids. Adrianna can't lose you" I state before leaving. I strap her into her car seat and drive off.

(Lockwood Mansion) Third Persons POV

"That's Alexis? You didn't tell me she was a vampire" Hayley states.

"It only happened recently, she was in a car crash and had vampire blood in her system. But I'm glad she did, otherwise Adrianna would of lost her mother" Tyler states.

"I'm sorry I upset her earlier, Adrianna woke up fussing and I was just trying to come her down" she tells him.

"It's fine, Lexis is very protective of Adrianna. Especially after she was kidnapped during a school dance. Once she's cooled off, she'll apologize and thank you for helping me break free of the sire bonds" he tells her.

"I hope so, she sounds like an amazing girl" Hayley states.

"She is" Tyler says with a smile.

"Then why aren't you together? She is the mother of your daughter" Hayley states.

"I'm with Caroline and besides Lexis & I would never work as a couple" he tells her.

(Alexis' apartment) Alexis' POV

Adrianna is down for her nap. I decide to call Elijah and he actually answers. "Hey Elijah, so glad you answered. I wish you were here, I'm acting different since the change" I tell him.

"Different how?" he asks me curious.

"Over protective, blood thirsty if someone threatens anyone I care about and I feel like your the answer. Like if I were you, all my problems would go away" I tell him.

"Trust me, you can handle this on your own. I believe in you" he tells me.

"Are you avoiding talking to me in person? I know your blood turned me and I'm grateful I'm alive to watch my daughter grow. Besides Damon's blood turned Elena and he's not avoiding her" I state.

"It's different for them, I can't explain right now. But I will when we meet again" he assures me.

"Give me your word, we'll see each other again Elijah" I tell him.

"I give you my word, we will meet again Alexis Gilbert" he vows and I sigh in relief. "How is Adrianna and her father? I heard about the hunter" he states.

"They're both ok. Klaus has his hybrids guarding Tyler. Though I'm a little peeved Tyler left Adrianna with stranger earlier" I grumble.

"Did he know the person?" he asks me.

"Yes, but I didn't and she was holding Adrianna" I growl.

"Calm down Alexis, Adrianna is safe" he tells me. "Besides you trust Tyler, right?" he asks me.

"Of course I do" I state.

"Then if he trusted this stranger, you should give them a chance" he tells me.

"Fine, I'll apologize to them tomorrow" I assure him.

"Good, now I have an errand to run. Stay out of trouble and take care of Adrianna" he tells me.

"I will, see you around Elijah" I say and hang up. I get a call from Damon. "What is it Damon?" I ask after I answered it.

"I'm going after the hunter, thought Lockwood would want to come. But don't have his number" he states.

"I don't want Tyler anywhere near that hunter Damon" I snap.

"Whoa chill, we are going to kill him" he tells me.

"Fine, but if anything happens to Tyler. You're dead" I tell him. I hang up and text him Tyler's number. I decide to have a long bubble bath.
