"Is this what we taught you," said Mrs Gibson with fuming eyes to her son as we all sat in the living room, again, only this time it was Kevin on the 'interrogation chair'.

"Charlotte, go easy on him," said Mr. Gibson to his wife.

"Oh shut it, Gregg," she turned towards her husband with narrowed eyes. "This is all your influence."
"My influence?!" he asked, shocked.

"Yes. If you wouldn't have gloated so many times about how you and Henry," she said while pointing to my dad, "Were the so called 'players' in your high school days and about how you two lost your virginity-"

"Okay I DO NOT want to be a part of that conversation," I said, petrified with the direction this conversation was going in. I looked to my side and saw Xavier who was trying to control his laughter by covering it with a cough. HOW COULD HE FIND THIS FUNNY?!

I wasn't having it though. I needed to leave before things got more awkward, which they definitely were, so I grabbed Xavier's hand and when he looked at me with puzzled eyes, I gestured towards the door.

Dad, who was on my right, must have seen our exchange though because he then leaned in and whispered to the two of us with a grin, "Stay. The fun has just begun."

"Hell no," I growled.

"Oh come on, babe," Xavier said from my left, removing my grip from his hand and putting an arm around my waist. "It'll look rude if we just left."
The smirk he was giving me clearly showed that he was enjoying the torture he was putting me through. That asshole.

"Wise decision, kid," said dad, glad that Xavier was supporting him in tormenting me.

"Oh come on Char." I tuned in back into the not so interesting conversation. "We were kids! That was just the two of us enjoying our high school lives!"

"Your idea of having fun was sex?!" Grammy looked at her son in law in shock.

"Mom-" started dad but couldn't finish since Gramps cut him in.
"Honey," he looked at Grammy with complete sincerity. "Our son in law had needs too."

"Kill me," I said with a groan and put my hands over my ears. "Kill me now."

"Oh, I am not going to let you miss this," said Xavier with a chuckle as he removed my hands from my ears. "Besides, I cant possibly let you die before our one month anniversary AT LEAST."
I hate him.

"DAD!" mom yelled next. "I don't want to discuss about my husband's 'needs' with any of you!"

"So you want to discuss them with him?" Grammy looked at mom and shook her head as if disappointed.

"Well he did get me pregnant so I think I'd be the most appropriate person for that conversation with him."

"So," I looked at Xavier and said, "Good weather today, right?"
"Is that supposed to be an attempt of yours to forget the conversation your family is having right now?" he asked me, amused.

"No shit, Sherlock."

"Why isn't your dad saying anything though?" he asked me in confusion.

"Because," my dad piped in on our conversation. "I learnt a long time ago to just shut up when those three argue about something. I'd be saving my breath coz I wouldn't get them to understand a word of what I'm saying anyway."

Xavier seemed satisfied with his response and turned back to the fiasco in front of us and said, "I really don't know what is more entertaining. Kevin being scolded at by his mom on one side of the room who is currently asking him if he has gotten any girls pregnant yet while his dad tries to calm her down while Rosalyn is still looking at me creepily," he said with a shudder.
