"Let us at least pay for the tickets on our own, man," Xavier looked towards Austin and said. It was Wednesday, the last day of school and was lunch period. The school was going to be closed for a week because there was some renovation that was due. Xav had been trying to convince Jerko for the past five days to let him contribute to the costs for Jerko's birthday trip.

"Xavier, my answer is the same. The one I have been giving you for the last five days. It's my birthday and I am taking you guys out. I pay the bill. It's okay man, we're friends. And friends don't mind spending a little for each other."

I snorted after I heard that. Of course the money he needed to spend on an extravagant trip to Hawaii which included the cost of tickets, food and every other expense needed for 9 people would be 'little' for him. Being crazy rich did that to you.

"But-"

"Xav, shut up," Kelsi said. "I can only take this conversation for so long now. You have been talking about it nonstop," she whined.

He sighed and obliged to the wishes of his sister, knowing he wont be able to argue with her.

"So when do we leave tomorrow?" Simon asked.

"The flight is for 10am," I answered. "We'll set the airport as the meeting point itself."

"Ooh, and guys," Jen piped in. "Forget your toothbrush for all I care but no one forgets their swimsuits. You will have me to answer to if you do," she warned.

"I'm not scared of you," Simon chuckled as he took a sip of the coke he had.

"Sky, he's a little far away, would you do the honours?" Jen asked Sky who was sitting next to him.

In the blink of an eye, she pushed the filled cup into his face and the drink spilled all over him.

"What the hell?!" Simon yelled in shock.

Sky then threw some tissues on his face and grumbled, "Shut up and do as she says."
She didn't leave him any room for argument.

We all laughed at the scene after which Jamie said, "Have you planned something fun for all of us there?"

Jerko smirked as if he was waiting for someone to ask him that question and said, "You will have to wait and find out."

Just then Xavier's phone rang. Since he was sitting right besides me I could see Roy's name flash through the screen.

"Yeah, Roy?" he answered.
I could hear faint noises from the phone after which Xavier pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed.

"What do you mean they want me to take your place?" he said.
Pause.
"Well then tell them I don't do it anymore."

He looked at Kells as he said this who was looking at her brother with worry in her eyes.

"Roy, you know I cant."

I could see that he was trying to control his anger by looking at his clenched fist which rested on his thigh while he put his right elbow on the table and rested his head on his palm.
It was obvious that whatever this was, was bothering him so I put my hand over his in an act to comfort him and slowly began loosening his fingers.

He jerked his head towards me, eyes wide in shock. I simply gave him a small smile and nodded at him.

He gave me a smile of his own and took my hand in his. It fit perfectly in mine and the warmth in them made an unknown feeling pass over me.
"Then I will give them my word that you will be doing it and that you will do a good job. We're leaving tomorrow morning Roy, I don't have the time to speak to David right now."
