The lights were dimmed casting low shadows over the furniture that moved in line to Sadlyeen's pacing. Engrossed in deep thought her determined march made no noise silenced by the plush carpet under her feet . Her siblings watched the repeated action back and forth lost in their own minds.

After three days of missing work Sade couldn't bare being cooped up in her apartment any longer. Lucky for her the cramping had subsided in comparison to the last three days so she'd gone to work and spent the day catching up with Chrissie. Despite having missed a few days work she couldn't bring herself to concentrate for long. The entire day had felt off.

She couldn't quite identify what was bothering her. She refused to blame her hormones because many a rude comment had been made about women and their time of the month. Besides, it felt different like something was looming over her.

In the afternoon, she received a call from her brother informing her of the impromptu meeting later in the evening so there they were in the backroom in his club where he had just made the big announcement.
“So we are starting this week?” Sadlyeen did not stop pacing too fidgety to sit.
“Yeah sis. It’s been a month already. We talked about preparing mentally because this isn’t child’s play we are getting into, this is serious stuff.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“You okay?” Dale faced her.
“I’m fine Dale, dont worry.” Was this what she had sensed?

“Well, I sure I’m excited. It'sgoing to be fun.” Melanie put in earning a stern look from her brother. “It’s serious not child’s play I got it.” She repeated her brother’s words so he missed the opportunity to chastise her.
Before Dale uttered another word  Melanie cut him off, “count on you to take the fun out of anything, yeah.”
“Fun is dangerous Mel and my sole purpose is to protect you, both of you. The repercussions are heavy.” He finished and looked to Sadlyeen for support who nodded and sat down.
“Sweet brother, can we get on with this?” Sadlyeen crossed her hands and put her legs on the table. She put them back down with an exaggerated sigh when Dale looked at them quizzically.

He reached into his brown designer briefcase. Not entirely certain from which designer exactly but judging by the look of the bag and knowing Dale and his love for fine things, Sade knew it hadn’t come cheap. He produced a large file and spread out a number of photos, blue prints, layouts and documents.

“Here we go, perpetrator number one.” Dale announced as Sadlyeen and Melanie stood up simultaneously to get a better look.
“His name is Luis Martha Specter but he goes by Luis. He was raised by a single mom hence the name Martha. He was in business with dad but from what I can gather, dad didn’t trust him and was right not to. He has several businesses around but there are questions about their legitimacy. I have reason to believe he is extremely dangerous. I know I’ve said this many times but we have to do this with extreme caution. His security detail is pretty advanced it will be impossible to make the hit at his house. Lucky for us, he has a meeting away from his home and will be staying at a hotel. I’ve got the details here. We need to come up with the best mode of attack. I’m not saying security will be slack but it’ll be less tight. I was thinking we do this after the meeting.”

“Dale. . . I think it will be best before the meeting. We will be assured he’s still there and chances of losing him due to last minute changes on his side are almost evitable. Think about it, his head of security no longer feels confident of the hotel he is staying at after the meeting and decides to move Luis, we will be jolted into action going in blind which is risky.” Sadlyeen said sensibly.
Dale nodded “Another thing, Luis loves the ladies.”
“Well, he’s in luck as there are two of those here.” Melanie smiled menacingly.
“What are you thinking?” Sadlyeen asked.
“Wouldn’t it be wonderful for dear Mr. Luis to get a pleasant surprise from two extremely attractive females who will give him the night of his life? Definitely, the night of his life.”
“It sounds so easy when you say it like that.” Sadlyeen commented.
“It is that easy, the problem is getting him out without anyone noticing especially that damn security.”
“I’ve got an idea. It’s crazy but it will work.” Dale said thoughtfully after he understood what his sisters were talking about.
“Let’s hear it.” Sadlyeen encouraged.
