Sadlyeen sat at her apartment’s kitchen island reading the day’s newspaper. Trying to read more the situation as five names kept revolving endlessly in her head. No matter how much she tried to forget she couldn’t. Her rigorous brain failed to stop but for a moment.

The cycle was the same; Gilbert Spencer, Mikael Udinov, Barbara Forster, Todd Harper and Rimrod Julius again and again.

Clearly, she would never be able to let it go, heck she'd known it as she watched the caskets lowered to the ground. Taking all five of them down if it was the last thing she did had taken up the top spot in her to do list. Her brain did spare her momentarily her thoughts drifting to Michael.

Before she could fantasize further she scolded herself for letting her guard down. He had hurt her more than she could ever express yet she gladly spontaneously melted in his arms each time. She did feel strongly for him, strong hatred as she tried to convince herself. However there was something else she felt deeply about, justice call it vengeance even. She couldn’t lie to herself want as she might. Yes there was an aspect of seeking justice but more overwhelming the desire to make them pay beckoned. She had to relinquish any association with Michael other than the professional one and focus on the one thing she lived for. It was simply an obsession.

Mikael Udinov currently lived in Ukraine where he ran a wide number of illegal activities; human trafficking, drug dealing and weapons were just a few. He had been able to evade the long arm of the law despite having killed so many people, allegedly.

As Sade looked over the folder she became more and more convinced that the world was better off without that particular scum. Miles up in the air she'd gone through it a number of times before and after they got on their private jet on their way to Ukraine.

Peering outside the window the sky retained a beautiful clear blue since take off though flying above the clouds, the weather underneath the fluffy cotton candy look remained uncertain. Under the pretense of visiting their subsidiary in the country the three planned on getting Udinov. They certainly had to make an appearance but there would be enough time to execute their real agenda.

“Sade, stop obsessing” Dale scolded
“I’m not.” She said.
“You are” he insisted.

Turning her attention back to the spacious cabin, she sighed handing the folder to Dale who would burn it on arrival. Melanie dozed off soundly beside her and Sade wished she could catch even the slightest sleep. It had been eluding her of late. Dale did see through her, the stressing occupied much of her mental activity.

Closing her eyes she rubbed her temples and leaned back adusting her chair. Instead of sleep her mind wandered memories flooding her brain.

Sadlyeen was around seven and her father had just bought her a dog after she pleaded relentlessly for a while. The white pup automatically earned the name snoopy. Playing with the young mut throughout their compound and running around tirelessly the first hours she ignored her mother’s calls to come in for refreshments. Her mother went back in deciding her daughter would return into the house in a short while after expelling all her energy and eventually tiring. Her father came out subsequently and stopped her as she was about to zoom past him.

“Honey, you need to come into the house.” He said gently.
“Daddy I love him, he is perfect. Thank you, thank you, and thank you.”  She hugged him and followed after snoopy.
“Sadlyeen Argent be careful you may hurt yourself.” He was loud enough for her to hear.

As if on cue she missed a step and tripped falling flat on her stomach. Her dad sprinted to her side only to find her holding her hand tears in her eyes.
