Louis' first priority after practice was to find Harry. He needed to warn him about Tito being in town. He needed to make sure he was okay after everything last night. He felt an immediate urge to just fix everything.
He scoured the swarms of students who moved at their normal groggy morning speed. This morning it was particularly annoying.
He weaseled his way through a group of clueless freshmen. Didn't they know who he was? He swore there was just no such thing as showing your upperclassmen some respect anymore.
He found the space in front of Harry's locker that was usually occupied by Olivia and her frilly coffee drinks was empty this morning.
He scanned a little further down the crowded hall to find Niall's locker was void of his friends as well. Where was everyone?
Shit.
Of course. Cast list day.
He started to power walk as casually as someone with his school status could. He made his way towards the auditorium as the first warning bell went off.
The list had been posted next to the doors to the auditorium. There must have been a hundred kids worming their way around to catch a look at the list.
Louis spotted Harry at the front of the group along with Olivia. There was no way he could get to them if he tried. He decided he would try to get a minute alone with him at lunch.
As he pushed straggling students aside to reclaim his personal space, Harry caught his eye. "Louis!" He waved him over.
Harry noticed the sea of people separating them and then gave him an apologetic look. Louis gave him a half-smile before mouthing "later."
Harry blew him a playful kiss and Louis felt a bit more at ease. He noticed Harry had still been dressed in sweats. He rocked the look confidently as if it was intentional.
Louis knew that despite his cool demeanor, this had to be hard for him. He wouldn't rest until he could get his boy alone today. There was no way he was going to let things get worse for him.

Louis was restless until his lunch period came around. He texted Harry to wait by his locker for him.
He couldn't focus on anything during class. He had the weight of a million things on his chest and he knew he'd feel better once he was next to his boy.
He practically ran out of class when the bell went off. He weaved through the hall and across campus to get to Harry's locker. He tried to skip pleasantries and small talk from people trying to impress him. He tried to avoid pretty much anything that could slow him down on his way to where he needed to be.
But he couldn't ignore this.
Josh.
For a fleeting second, he had pitied the guy. Most days Louis would have gone (considerably) easy on him. Today was not one of those days.
He clenched his fist at the sight of the sophomore boy smiling and slagging off with his friends. Louis approached him with a glare that could turn Medusa herself to stone.
"Louis." He perked up with an apologetic look. "I've actually been looking for you."
"Yeah? And why would you go looking for the guy who's going to shove your heads so far up your arse you're going to look like a fucking rotisserie chicken." He punched the locker behind him as he removed the space between them. It was mostly for show but he warned the kid what would happen if he messed with his sister.
