LIAM'S POV
We already contacted Miguel since he's not with us earlier, he's been busy these days with his father because of their plan, which is taking over Tito Maxxis' business in France.
As we finally arrived at the hospital, we were so eager while making our way to the room where Claire was admitted by the doctors.
"How is she? How's the baby? Are they... Are they fine?"- she worriedly asked her.
"We took a lot of test to finalize the situation of Ms. Villanueva and the baby and sadly, she passed all of it. The pelvic exam, her cervix dilated. For the blood test, I also had checked the level of the pregnancy hormone, HCG, her blood to compare it to previous measurements. At, ang panghuli, the chromosomal test, this is her first time, right? I suggest you to take good care of every pregnant woman in your life, to make sure this won't happen ever again."
"Can you please be straight forward, doc? I wanted to know if how's my bestfriend with her baby inside---"
"The baby's gone. The baby's no longer inside your bestfriend's womb." direktang putol niya na nagpabagsak sa lahat ng balikat namin, tila nawalan kami ng gana sa narinig.
"W-What?!"- Amara's emotion turned exaggerated.
"If you noticed po kung gaano nanakit ang puson niya at kung gaano karaming dugo ang nawala sa kaniya, 'yon po ang tinatawag na spotting or vaginal bleeding similar to a menstrual period. She had a inevitable miscarriage, which can come after a threatened miscarriage or without warning. The only good thing here is even though Ms. Villanueva had a very sensitive pregnancy, nothing bad happened to her health, she's in good condition right now except the pain in her vagina, but the only thing I could suggest you to do is to help her cope with the situation. Emotional healing can take much longer than physical healing. Miscarriage can be a heart-wrenching lost that others around her might not fully understand."
