Chapter 24
"Do you still want to wear shorts?"
Nilingon ko si Axev na nakatayo sa gilid ng kama at may hawak na boxer shorts sa kamay. The hem of his shirt ends inches above my knee. And I'm still a bit sore so I wasn't wearing anything underneath aside from my bra.
"Mamaya na lang. Tayo lang naman ang narito 'di ba?"
Tumango siya at lumapit sa akin pagkatapos ibalik ang boxers sa lagayan ng kaniyang damit. I just found out that Tita Ayesha went on a seminar for her CPD and will be back on Tuesday. Kaya pala wala 'yong sasakyan nila. Sumama si Tito Steph at si Ely dahil bibisita rin daw ang mga ito sa isang kamag-anak nila.
Umupo si Axev sa gilid ng kama, paharap sa akin. He was serious and in deep thoughts while watching me. I smiled a little. Kinuha niya ang isang kamay ko at hinila ako palapit. He made me stand in between his legs and put his hands on the back of my thighs.
"Masakit pa ba?"
Kinagat ko ang labi, ramdam ang pag-iinit ng mukha. Hindi na dapat ako mahiya dahil ginawa na namin pero hindi ko maiwasan lalo na kung sobrang lalim ng tingin niya sa akin.
"A little." I nodded shyly.
He took a deep breath and rubbed my thighs. Pinatong ko ang kamay sa balikat niya.
"Do you regret it?" He asked in his deep baritone.
"Hindi."
"Are you sure?"
I rolled my eyes and tousled his hair.
"Oo nga. I don't regret it."
He sighed and buried his head on my tummy. His hands went up to my butt then to my waist. He was rubbing it.
"Evander..." I croaked. "Do you want a take two?"
Umayos siya ng upo at sinamaan ako ng tingin. Halos tumawa ako dahil nang-aakusa ang kaniyang tingin. I was just tripping him because he's so worried about it. Seriously, I don't regret it. Not even a second.
"Baba na tayo." Aniya at tumayo, hawak ang kamay ko.
"What about the bed sheet?" I asked and glanced at the red stain on his white sheets.
"Mamaya na. Kumain na muna tayo. Hindi ka ba gutom?"
Ngumuso ako. "Nagdala ako ng maayos na pagkain pero iba naman kasi ang kinain natin."
He groaned and glared at me. I laughed this time. I stopped teasing him when I felt the soreness in between my thighs. Hindi naman masyado pero mahapdi pa rin. Hindi ko na lang sinabi kay Axev dahil siguradong baka buhatin na niya ako pababa.
Axev was removing the cover of the watermelon while I was opening the cake. Nilagay ko ang candle na binili ko sa gitna ng cake at sinindihan iyon. Lumapit ako kay Axev na nakatalikod. I started singing the birthday song, driving him to look at me. I smirked when I saw him shaking his head.
"Belated happy 22nd birthday, Evander!" I laughed and levelled the cake on his face. "Wish ka muna bago mo i-blow."
He stared at me for a moment before he closed his eyes and after some seconds, he blew the candle. He smiled when he saw me grinning at him. He leaned forward and kissed my forehead.
"Thank you." He muttered genuinely.
"You're always welcome. Hindi ka na nagtatampo sa akin?" Tumawa ako.
"Why do you keep on saying that? Hindi naman ako nagtampo."
Tumaas ang kilay ko at pinatong muli ang cake sa lamesa. He put the bowl of sliced watermelon on the table and went to the refrigerator.
