[Emmileigh]

Today is Elijah's 12th Birthday and we are in Fenway, which both Elijah and Donnie are really excited about.

But I don't really get it. I have no idea what sports they play here, and it certainly isn't Wembley Stadium, which pretty much dwarfs this place.

We'd arrived here very early this morning, and being that it was Elijah's birthday, We'd let him have the day off from tutoring, which I was glad about.

The less I saw of that sex interrupting slut bitch the better.

"THIS IS SO COOL!" Elijah yelled out as we made our way out onto the field. He was running ahead, looking around in awe. I was looking around feeling a little out of my league.

"Awesome, huh?" Donnie wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah.. awesome.." I knew my voice was dripping with sarcasm.

"Uh oh.."

I looked up at him. "What?"

"You're not enjoying yourself?"

I looked around. "Well yeah, I am. I just have no idea what this is, why theres tons of dirt everywhere and everything. I'm a London girl. Wembley stadium is my thing. A football pitch is where I feel at home."

Donnie chuckled and kissed the side of my head. "This piece of dirt.. is called a mound, and baby.. it doesn't matter. Look at Elijah's face. He loves it."

I looked over at Elijah, who was throwing a baseball in the air and catching it. "He does look happy. And Donnie.." I looked up at him and grinned. ".. what you might refer to as a mound, I might see it differently."

He gave me a confused look until and lent in and kissed him, moving his hand to my crotch. He smiled against my lips before pulling away. "You're so dirty."

I giggled and moved away. "Yeah? You love it." I walked away before he could comment and walked over to Elijah.

"We should take pictures of you here." I dug the camera Karsyn brought me out my bag and knelt down as Elijah posed for a series of pictures. I would've liked for the twins to be here, but it was really hot, and me and Donnie wanted to focus on Elijah for the day.

"DAD! Let's take pictures."

I looked behind me and smiled as Donnie walked over.

"Take one on my phone too. I need to tweet this."

I took his phone and smiled before taking pictures of them, acting like complete dorks.

I loved them dorks.

I'm not going to lie. I was kind of sad to see Amy leave to head back to Philly. It was kind of nice meeting her and getting to know her and I was kind of happy she wasn't phased by the whole 'oh my new sister is married to a Backstreet Boy' thing. She could have really gave a shit less who Nick was it seemed.

I was still kind of concerned about the revelation she told me and that Donnie told Nick, but it was a long time ago. And Donnie was right, if it wasn't for him having a little fling with Amy, he may have still been with Kim, miserable and never even taken the chance to know Emmileigh and Logan and Savannah wouldn't be here. Hell, this second tour might not have been happening and who knows, I might have even gotten with Nick.

I'm letting Donnie tell her though, when he's ready. It's not my place to tell her. Plus, things have still been a little tense between us and I think it's all Lucie's fault. Nick joked that we should fire Lucie and hire Amy to tutor the kids. She is a teacher after all, but I don't want to jump on that bandwagon so soon after meeting her and getting to know her.

But it wasn't a secret that Haley was crazy about her and Elijah seemed to like her, too. She was great with the twins and I think Emmileigh was okay with her taking care of them or watching them.

But now we're in Beantown, Boston, where I always wanted to go to school, at Harvard, but was never smart enough. The New Kids are all happy to be home and I think the Boys are all excited to be playing Fenway again. If Alan were alive and knew they were playing on this sacred gown, he would probably smack them all. He was a huge Red Sox fan and never got the chance to come here to see a game.

"So apparently this Brandi chick who picked out Gracie's name is hella excited about winning the trip," Nick said as he walked up to me, looking down at his phone. "I added her on Twitter and she DM'd me thanking me and said she had gifts for Haley and Gracie." I sat there staring out of the bus at the Green Monster and didn't look up back at up at him. "What's wrong?"

"Feeling depressed," I sighed. "Alan was a huge Red Sox fan."

"Yeah and I know you and Emmi haven't been on the best terms lately," he said as I looked up at him. "You haven't been so friendly with Lucie since Amy left."

"Amy said she got a bad vibe from her," I shrugged. "I wonder if Emmi's right. I mean, the kids like her and Haley's doing so much better with her spelling and stuff."

"I think you and Emmileigh need to hang out or something," Nick said as I shrugged. "Donnie's Mom is gonna be around. Let her watch the kids and you two go shopping or something. Your sundresses and stuff are getting kind of tight."

"You callin' me fat, Carter?"

"I'm callin' you knocked up, Carter," he said causing me to snort. "I think that's the first time I've referred to you as that. Scary, isn't it?"

"Kind of is," I sighed as I stood up, looking down at the sundress I had on. He was right. My clothes weren't getting smaller, I was getting bigger. Then I heard the chirping sound from my phone and I reached over, picking it up.
