October 17th

Jessica whined when she woke up the next morning to her alarm.

Sarah rolled over on the other bed and sat up, wincing at the sunlight.

"The lightttt." Kathy whined.

"I feel like I'm going to puke." Angela said, hoarsely.

"Me too." Jessica said, grabbing at her head.

"Mom! You're getting married today!!"

"I know." Jessica said with her eyes closed.

"You're so ecstatic." Angela said sarcastically.

"Let me get some water and coffee and I'll show excitement again." She said as she called room service.

*

Everyone sat around Jessica laughing and talking about experiences Jessica's mother walked through the door.

"Mama!" Jessica squealed.

"I'd get up, but I'm being glammed." She said and laughed.

"It's okay honey, you look beautiful, I can't believe my little girls all grown up.....I wish your father were here to see it...."
*

"Mama. I want you to walk me down the aisle." Jessica smiled.

"Really? Honey I'd love to!"

Jessica wiped the tears out of her eyes, tryin not to smudge her makeup.

"You're so beautiful..."

Jessica hugged her mother and when they pulled apart Jessica smiled again.

"Alright mama, your turn to get glammed up!"

They walked back into the room and the chaos.

"You're so pretty!" Sarah said, hugging her best friend.

"I cannot believe I'm getting married."

"Me either!"

"I'm scared, but so overjoyed at the same time."

"Don't get cold feet on us now." Sarah said laughing.

"I'm definitely not getting cold feet."

"Last night proves that you're in for the long haul."

"Huh?"

"You snuck off and had sex with him instead of partying with us!"

"Hey! I came back and partied!"

"After half an hour of us looking for you."

"The moral of the story is I came back."

"Right."Sarah rolled her eyes.

"I still cannot believe you Snuck off like a teenager." Kathy laughed.

"Right, she wasn't even that sneaky though." Angela laughed.

"I must've been pretty sneaky because no one found me until after we were finished."

"That's actually false. I heard you from the stairs of the vip room and waited a good ten minutes at the bottom of the stairs before barging in."

"Oh my god Jessica!" Her mother scolded and Jessica blushed.

"5 minutes everyone."

"I feel like I'm on broadway." Jessica laughed.

As the music began, Jessica took a deep breath. The girls walked down the aisle smiling and waving at the guests and Jessica stood behind the closed doors trying to ease her nerves.

Suddenly the bridal march begins and Dorothy links arms with Jessica.

"Ready?"
