6 weeks old.

"Hello and good morning Jessica." Jessica's doctor said.

"Good morning, how are you and baby doing?"

"We're fine."

"We have to get some vaccinations done for this little lady and give you a check up to see how everything's healing. Where's Danny?"

"He's in the car on the phone with his mother, he'll be in here soon."

"Alright, let's check you out first and then get Rues doctor to see her."

"Okay."

"Danggggg." Danny walked in as Jessica was waiting on the doctor in stirrups.

"Shush doofus."

"It's a looker Jess." Danny laughed.

The baby began to fuss from the car seat and Danny picked her up.

"What's wrong little miss?" Danny patted her back and lightly bounced her.

The doctor walked back in and Danny sat with the baby.

"Alright Jessica, let's check you out." She said.

Jessica shut her eyes tightly as the doctor inspected her.

"Everything looks to be healing up okay."

"Soo." Danny said, peeking over to the doctor.

"I would say yes to be cleared for sex."

"Oh boy oh boy."

Jessica glared over at him.

"Sorry, just excited."

"I don't know why, you're not getting any."

"Aw shucks. Mommy's mean to me Rue."

Jessica was rocking Rue in the rocking chair in their bedroom.

"Sh sh. It's okay, I promise." The baby whimpered, crying.

"Mommy loves you sweetheart." She kissed Rue's forehead.

"Knock knock."

"Hey papa." She smiled.

"She feeling better? It's my fault she's not feeling good, I couldn't get her to burp." He said dejected.

"That doesn't make you a bad daddy."

"I feel like a bad daddy."

"Aw honey." Jessica stood and handed the baby to him.

The baby cooed up at him and grinned.

"Her first smile!"

"It may just be gas but it was cute!"

Jessica smiled and kissed the side of his head.

"I love you baby."

"I love you too."
