Sophie's POV

"How does this save Keefe?" Sophie asked, pointing to the book.

Breeze took the book and flipped through some pages then handed the book back. It showed a Pyrokinetic, a Hydrokinetic, a Biokinetic, a Guster, a Shade, and a Flasher. They each were doing complicated movements and words in the Black Swan cipher were neatly written on the side.

"Each element has to do a different set of movements to purify their element that they work with. Once the element is fully purified they combine all the elements together and send it into the person who has been influenced with Stellerlune. In your case that person is Keefe," Breeze explained, "Also, how is it going with breaking through my blocking, Mr. Forkle?."

Everyone turned around to face Mr. Forkle. Sophie knew Mr. Forkle didn't follow the rules of telepathy so she wasn't surprised when she saw his hands clenched into fists.

"I'll get there one day," Mr. Forkle said with a smile.

"Keep telling yourself that,"

"What is Stellerlune?" Tiergan asked, changing the subject.

"Stellerlune is a byproduct from Shadowflux and Quintessence combined together,"

"Have you heard of Stellerlune giving someone a new power?" Blur's disassembled voice asked.

Breeze went pale then muttered a few creative words.

"Was Keefe on Magsidian and did he have Ethertine on him?" Breeze eventually asked.

Sophie nodded and Breeze mumbled another string of creative words. Breeze started pacing. She did this for a few minutes until she looked up and everyone.

"Legend says that if you put a elf on Magsidian and make the elf wear Ethertine it will give them the power of an Absorber. It is a legendary ability that can only be given in this process. Only one person has ever survived the process and when they did they brought havoc anywhere they went. The elf has now been a forgotten secret,"

"But what does an Absorber do?" Mr. Forkle asked.

"Basically whoever he touches Keefe will be able to absorb their ability. For example if Keefe touches Tam he will become a Shade. But if he touches Linh he will become a Hydrokinetic and drop the ability that he absorbed from Tam. The good news is Keefe will only be able to use one ability at a time.

"So if we wake Keefe up he'll probably blow up the world, but if we leave him in a coma he rots there with no sense that he was alive." Sophie concluded tears streaming down her face.

"Yeah. I'm sorry," Breeze apologized.

"It-it's all my-fault. If I had-I should have-," Sophie didn't finish because her knees buckled over and she fell to the ground.

The darkness swallowed her conscious and she drifted away in a dreamless sleep. Sophie didn't want to snap back to reality so she stayed in the darkest corner of her mind making loads of shields in the process. Sophie usually could hear people say things to her, but no noise came in. Sophie stayed there for so long that she didn't know how long she had been staying there.

"Who am I?" Sophie thought. "I don't know"

Sophie thought for a long time. It hurt trying to remember so Sophie gave up and drifted into the darkness.
