BONUS CHAPTER
Tiergan's POV
"It-it's all my-fault. If I had-I should have-," Sophie didn't finish because her knees buckled over and she fell to the ground.
"Sophie wake up," Linh begged, shaking Sophie.
I sobbed and I felt my knees turn to rubber as I fell down.
"Tiergan get rid of that guilt. Elwin can fix her," Breeze's gentle voice said squeezing my hand.
I looked up and pushed all the guilt in the back of my mind. Breeze's eyes looked so relieved when I looked up that it destroyed any lasting guilt. Breeze smiled and kissed me.
"Make the guilt go away," Breeze's melodic voice whispered.
I nodded and thousands of thoughts raced in my mind. When I got up I saw that Squall, Blur, and Wraith were frozen while Forkle looked like a ghost. Breeze lifted Sophie using telekinesis and quickly ran towards a wall. Instead of slamming into a wall she went through it.
"Follow me this is the exit," Breeze shouted back.
That seemed to get everyone out of their panic. Everyone followed where Breeze had gone. Inside was a carriage on rails. The door was open and I scrambled to get inside. Breeze set down Sophie on a seat then turned around to control the carriage. Everyone filed inside and sat down with grim faces. I sat next to Sophie's unconscious body and stroked hair out of her eyes.
"Come back Sophie. Please," I whispered tears brimming in my eyes.
The carriage started to move and I decided to put my fingers on Sophie's temples. I pushed my conscious into her mind and sank deep down. There was nothing there. It was silent and black and suffocating.
Sophie. I transmitted.
Sophie
Sophie
Sophie
SOPHIE COME BACK! I transmitted growing more desperate with each word.
Nothing happened. The words just vanished into the black making little echos as it crushed the words. Someone was shaking me and telling me to go. I didn't want to leave Sophie but I felt Sophie's mind boosting me out of her mind. I pulled back snapping back to reality landing into Wraith's arms.
"What did you see?" Mr. Forkle asked.
"There was nothing but empty blackness," I responded back looking at Sophie's unconscious body again.
"We are here," Breeze interrupted.
Breeze grabbed Sophie's body again with telekinesis and stepped out of the carriage. Once everyone had walked out of the carriage she sent the carriage back down and covered the tunnel with water. She then walked towards the ice path and turned it back to water. Breeze then made a water bubble surrounding Leaper then pushed it into the ocean. A teal heart was spitted back out of the ocean and Breeze grabbed it and tucked it away in a pocket. Breeze held out her pathfinder and everyone joined hands. Breeze held the pathfinder to the light and stepped into the light.
"The good news is that she is still alive," Elwin announced.
Wraith had hailed Grady, Edlaine, Jolie, and Livvy and they quickly made their way to the Healing Center.
