Sophie's POV

Sophie glittered onto Foxfire's ground with a smile plastered to her face. Sophie, Sandor, Bo, and Flori navigated their way through Foxfire until they ended up at the Healing Center's doors.

"Can you wait out here?" Sophie asked her bodyguards. When they nodded she pushed the doors open to find Lord Cassius and Ro standing over Keefe. Lord Cassius looked like his usual self with Keefe's characteristics, but with blonde, slicked-back hair and neater attire. Ro had dyed her pigtails and her fingernails green. Ro was saying some creative words as she looked at Keefe.

"Ah, Miss Foster it seems you are worried about my son too," Lord Cassius said, giving her one of his oily smiles.

"Of course I'm worried, I'm his friend ," Sophie snapped back.

Her eyes trailed onto Keefe's pale twisted body and she shuddered. He deserved a better family.

"Sophie?" Elwin asked, coming out of his lab and drowning out Lord Cassius' answer.

Sophie smiled,"Yeah it's me."

Elwin immediately made her sit down. He flashed a thousand orbs around her body and gave her 5 elixirs to chug down. Elwin had saved her lives many times so Sophie didn't complain when the elixirs tasted like curdleroot and selkie pee.

"Can I transmit to Keefe? I want to catch him up on everything he has missed." Sophie asked, pointing towards Keefe's direction.

"Just be careful," Elwin warned.

Sophie settled down on a cot next to Keefe and pressed her fingers against his temples. She pushed her conscious into his mind.

Hey Keefe. I really miss you. Can you please come back! Please! Sophie transmitted. The soft gray fuzziness of his mind didn't answer so she shared what had happened since she had left him here. I will always miss you Keefe don't ever forget that. I will fix this!

With that she snapped back to reality not waiting for Keefe's answer.

"I take it he still won't answer?" Lord Cassius asked.

"Yep. I think there is something we have to do to him to make him wake up instead of waiting for him to do it by himself." Sophie wondered.

"Like what," Lord Cassius asked. The desperation in his eyes distracted Sophie for a moment before she remembered her answer and said,"I...don't know,"

She let some tears well up in her eyes and Sophie let it all out knowing that Keefe was still asleep and she hadn't had any progress helping him.

"I am going to find Glimmer, and I will make this right," Sophie said with determination. She marched out of the Healing Center before Elwin, Lord Cassius, or Ro could question what she was doing and told Sandor, Bo, and Flori "Let's go back to Havenfield."  

Sophie held out her home crystal and leaped back to Havenfield now knowing what to do. She was going to solve two mysteries at once.

Sophie was in her room when her imparter buzzed. Sophie read the beautiful words 'Tam Song'. Sophie wished it was about Glimmer and a meeting. She even crossed her fingers for good luck as she tapped the screen of the imparter, but instead of Tam's face lighting up her screen it was a Neverseen hood instead. His or her face was hidden by the shadow of the hood so Sophie couldn't tell who it was. Either way she shrieked and dropped the imparter.

"Relax. It's me Sophie," a familiar voice assured her.

Sophie closed her eyes and took 5 deep breaths before opening her eyes and tentatively grabbing the imparter.

"Glimmer?" Sophie asked.

"I heard you're looking for me,"

"I am. Can you tell me anything about Keefe's condition or Breeze?"

"I don't know about Keefe, but I know a lot about Breeze...and where she is being held,"
