Jupiter insisted for Leo to join them. Leo hasn't fully recovered from when Jason found him, but he was capable to walk and stay upright without anyone supporting him. When Leo entered, he stared at Jason and then Jupiter.
He grinned. 'Okays , shall we cut to the chase?'
Jason looked stunned as if he were expecting Leo to be shocked by Jupiter. Apparently not.
'Okay,' Jason said slowly. 'We shall.'
Leo walked over to them, holding his side. 'I have a deal for you, as Zeus has told you.'
Jason remembered a line of the prophecy: The ghost of fire with deal and cage. It makes sense now. Leo was the 'ghost of fire', and he was trapped in a cage and now he was offering him a deal.
'To stand any chance against Ouranos, you'll need Zeus and me.' Leo told him.
'Why? But - no offence - but you look like you just crawled out of a cave.'
'Wha-' Leo looked at his clothes and winced when he turned.
'See?' Jason pointed a hand at him. 'You can't even turn properly.'
Jason felt guilty, but he couldn't show it. He knew that he was right, but this wasn't the strangest thing he saw or heard today.
Jupiter interrupted. He seemed awfully quiet, which wasn't like him. 'It's midnight, I'd better leave.' He turned around and the same flash of golden light encased him. When it was gone, so was Jupiter.
It suddenly clicked. 'Oh-no! It's midnight!'
Leo jerked his head. 'So?
'My quest ends now.'
Leo mouthed the word, oh-no.
'I'd better go help fight.'
Jason turned to exit, but Leo caught him. He winced. 'Think about the deal, will ya.'
'Fine, but can I go now?'
Leo nodded, and Jason ran off to help fight.Jason's sword clashes with the leather warrior's. He jerked his sword free and stabbed the warrior in the gut.
'Seriously, what are those things?' He asked.
'I don't know.' Percy Jackson said. 'Let's call them leather boys.'
Despite Jason hating that name, he agreed.
'Let's kill these leather boys before Ouranos rises.' Percy said.
Jason nodded.
That said, the ground shook. Trees were shaking ferociously. Pebbles danced on the floor. Then, in the forest, a rock explosion took place. Rocks flew everywhere, knocking campers, leather boys and Chiron.
'Ouranos is rising!' A fearsome camper screamed.
Jason arched his eyebrow. Ya think?
Then, he thought of the offer Leo gave him.
'Be right back!' He told Percy, then he ran off to the Hephaestus cabin.
He knocked on the door.
'Enter and your own risk, because the Leo is going to burn your eyes with his awesomeness!' Leo joked.
Jason opened the door.
'Oh, it's you.'
'I've come to an agreement. You and Jupiter can fight him.' Jason said.
'Oh, so you agree with me?' Leo said. 'That's a first.'
Jason frowned. 'Leo!'
'Fine, fine. Help me up.'
Jason hesitated. 'Right...' He grabbed Leo's arm and hauled him up.
'Close your eyes.' Leo told him.
'Because you will be unleashing your full glory?' Jason joked.
'Yes.'
Jason closed his eyes and a flash of light flashed in front of him.
'Okay, you can open them.' Leo said in a manlier voice.
He opened his eyes. Leo looked the same, just better. Jason was convinced that Leo was an entirely different person.Jason was back in the battlefield, waiting for Leo ad Jupiter to arrive. Uranus is at the bridge of rising, leaving not much time to kill the leather boys.
Jason was surrounded by leather boys that he was cornered. He was backing up towards the forest. Then behind him, a nymph shot out of a tree and tangled the soldiers in vines, and Jason killed them.
'Thank you, Evii.' Jason said.
Evii blushed. 'Your welcome, Jason.'
'Will you help fight?' He asked.
'I'll do my best.' She said and flew off to help fight.
Jason ran back into battle, but he was too late. A giant humanoid figure erupted from the forest behind him. He turned alerted. He knew he was too late. He knew that he already lost. He knew that he failed his quest - which ended several minutes ago. He thought this when two flaming shadows flew by. One was Leo, the other was Jupiter. Jason wanted to slap himself. How did he forget about them? He faced the shadows and they descended, squashing some of Uranus's warriors.
'Fire Boy and Air-Head to the rescue!' Leo shouted.
'Never call the king of the cosmo Air-Head!
Leo ignored. 'Anyway, we must defeat Uranus.'
By now, the god roamed around, stepping on innocent campers and even his own warriors. Every camper shot arrows at him, which probably felt like a flea hitting him. He just advanced.
'Go! Defeat the ex-king, or whatever.' Jason yelled.
'Gee, you don't need to shout.' The pair flew toward the god.
Jason remembered how much buffer, bigger and just a little bit more mature Leo has gotten since he accepted the deal. Then it occurred to him. 'Vulcan.' He said softly.
'What?' A camper asked. 'Why are you talking about vultures at a time like this?'
Jason shook his head as if to say, Ha-ha. Stupid joke by the way, And charged into battle once again.Uranus was still roaming around, but slower. The two gods did all in their power to stop him. They looked at each other as if to say, Alright, Plan B. Jason was shocked. The gods have a Plan B for his Plan B. He was pondering if that would make it a plan C, when he was interrupted by a sword but in his calf and a boney kick in the back. He fell to the ground. He got up and with one strike, killed the leather boy.
When Jason was convinced that Kronos was not coming, a voice said from behind. 'Pss, Jason.'
Jason turned to face Evii. 'Evii, what are you doing?'
'Talking to you.' She said. 'Anyway, Zeus sent me.'
'For what?' Jason asked.
'To help defeat Ouranos.'
Jason thought about it. This might mean Kronos was not coming, so he agreed. 'Fine.'
Evii nodded at Jupiter. She turned back to Jason. 'You'd better go.'
'Right.' He rushed of, summoning the wind to fly to his father.
