They clambered into a bedroom as big as a house. To the left was a king-sized bed with a blanket that screamed WAR! and set of pillows which were decorated with blood-red covers. Next to the bed was a wooden drawer that had clothes and sheets dangling out. Above the red bed hung swords with blades so smooth that it looks like they haven't seen a battle yet. The swords hilts' and handles' were strapped with velvet coloured leather and a golden SPQR with maiden a black circle.
On the right was a painting of Bellona, Reyna's godly mother, side-by-side with the god of war, Mars. Located in the far back corner stood an isolated desk with a jar of jellybeans and two dogs which seemed to be made from metal.
'Aurum! Argentum!' Jason yelled. The automaton dogs barked at the sound of their own names. 'Who's a good boy? I mean, who are good boys?'
'Be careful.' Reyna cautioned.
'Yeah, because they can sense lies.'
'Good. You remember!'
Jason smiled. He stood up and began to unpack his clothes and toiletries. Reyna helped.
'So, um, why are you here, again?' Reyna asked politely.
Jason sighed. 'Jupiter insisted me to stay here.'
Reyna nodded.
Together, they unpacked Jason's clothes and stacked them neatly in the untidy drawer. They hadn't spoken a word since they started unpacking until Jason broke the silence.
'You know, this occasion of me being transferred to Camp Jupiter is bittersweet for me. Of course, with Piper and Thalia gone, it will just feel awkward there. But with Leo back, it-'
Reyna butted in. 'Wait. Leo's back?'
Jason felt weird not telling her. 'Yeah. Anyway, being here feels like home but I don't want to leave Leo behind.'
'I feel you.' Reyna assured. 'I felt like that when my dad died and my sister left and I was here all alone. Until you showed up at my doorstep, quite literately.'
Jason blushed.
She continued. 'You became Praetor, joined the Fifth Cohort, we grew close, then...' She suppressed the urge to say you left. Jason could tell.
'I'm sorry about me, you know, but that wasn't my fault. It was Juno's. She even took my memory!' Jason apologised for nothing.
Reyna exhaled. She didn't say anything for a while, Jason either. They pursued the wonderful journey of unpacking. Both Praetors, former or current, only made a sound when they heard a weird noise outside, which Jason thought nothing of it then.
Jason unexpectedly broke the silence. 'Why is this place deserted?'
'You tell me.'
'You should really know where your people are at. At least some of them.'
They both chuckled but not laughed. Jason could tell that Reyna wasn't entirely upset. Because of all of his jokes and giggling, he found that his cheekbones started to ache, so he finished unpacking in silence.
After about five seconds, they finished their task. They high-fived, assigned and chose a bed, and finishing stuffing the faller clothes. Despite this being a bedroom, it has multiple beds, intended to accommodate the Hunters of Diana when they stay over. Each bedroom held six beds, each king-sized, meaning at least two hunters can sleep in one bed.
There was a knock on the door five minutes later. Reyna opened it and standing at the door was Frank Zhang.
Jason's eyes widened. 'Frank!'
'He, Jason! I didn't know you'd be here.'
'Oh, do you want me to...' Jason jammed a thumb at the door as if to say leave?
'Oh, no. No, it's fine.' Frank assured.
'Nah, bro, I'll leave.' Jason insisted, walking out of the house/bedroom.
He waited for about two minutes, eavesdropping, then he realised that they had a deep praetor discussion. Upon realising this, he walked away, trying to find other friends and/or people he knew. He searched, but no luck. It seemed to be no one around.
'That's strange.' Jason murmured. 'Camp is never like this, and I mean never.'
Behind him, someone placed a cold hand on Jason's warm shoulder. He jumped a bit and turned to see who it was. To his surprise, Nico di Angelo stood with Will Solace next to him, shoulder-to-shoulder.
'How'd you...' Jason's voice faulted.
'Shadow travel; dam, is it cool!' Will said enthusiastically.
Jason knew that they had a thing for each other. But they have different personalities. Nico is a gloomy all the time; Nico is not. Will is tall; Nico is not. Will has blonde hair; Nico has black hair. They have almost nothing identical. Alas, Jason, and pretty much everyone else, ship them.
Besides that, Nico looked as gloomy as ever. 'Somehow he didn't get nauseous.' Nico said, bending over as if he were about to puke.
'Anyway, why are you guys here?' Jason asked, pointing a flat hand towards them, Palm up, shifting from Will to Nico.
'Just to say hi!' Will bounced up and down.
'Piper made me shadow travel. I was basically held hostage.' Nico said.
'Funny that- Wait, Piper's here?'
''Cause I'm here, Blonde Superman.' Piper came strolling around the corner of a temple honouring Hades.
'Er, hi, I guess.'
'Hi.' Piper responded awkwardly. 'I missed you already, so I, um, how don't putt his? Oh, yes, forced Nico to shadow travel here.'
'Jason!' A voice came ricocheting off the temples' stone walls. Reyna came running to Jason. She took a glance over at Piper as if to say, what is she doing here?, then said, panting in between each word, 'We need to talk.'

أدب الهواةIn retrospect, the war was nothing compared to this. Jason is the son of Jupiter, the king of the gods. He felt anger and sadness after Leo's death in the war of Gaia. Leo had always been the third-wheel, and the seventh-wheel, but that did not stop...
