Jalil POV

"Hon." I called her.

I saw Shan walking towards us with the others, then suddenly the lights turned off and spot light pointed on the stage.

I felt Princess trying to remove her hand to mine but I didn't let her go. I held it firmly.

She's gonna do what she have planned yesterday.

"Jalil." May halong pagbabanta niyang sabi.

Bullshit!

"Aish! Just be safe, okay?" I said.

I couldn't do anything, she a hotheaded woman.

But before she leave, he suddenly pull my nape towards her and gave me a kiss.

"I will. Ikaw na bahala sa kanila." She said before walked onto the back stage door.

"Nandito na sila— wait, where's Pat?" Shan confusedly asked me.

"She's in the comfort room." I said.

"Oh. Okay."

Felix approached me. "Saan kayo galing, bakit bigla kayong nawala?" He asked.

I raised my eyebrow. "Y'all does missing, not us. Tss."

"Good evening everyone!" Host's said on the stage.

The party starting.

I feel worries about my wife.

Shan POV

"Bakit parang ang tagal naman ni Pat? Kala ko ba nag-c.r lang ang babaeng 'yon?" Tanong ko dahil kanina pa wala si Pat noong mag-simula ang party.

Tumingin ako kay Jalil na nasa sulok at tumutungga ng alak.

Is he not worry?

Lumapit ako rito. "Where's Pat? Bakit ang tagal n'ya?" Tanong ko.

Hindi s'ya tumingin sa akin at panay lang ang tungga.

Ano ba ang nagyayari rito?

"She'll be here in a minute." Sabi n'ya at tumungga.

Ang weird. Kanina pa s'ya gan'yan simula noong sinabi n'ya na nag-c.r lang si Pat.

May hindi ba kami alam na alam n'ya?

"We are now here to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Morris."

Biglang sabi ng Host ang nagpalakpakan ang ibang mga tao.

"Please welcome, the married couple. Mr. and Mrs. Morris!"

Tumutok ang spot light sa likod ng stage kung saan dapat lalabas ang mag-asawang Morris pero walang lumabas.

Nagbulungan ang mga tao dahil wala pang lumabas sa stage.

"Where they are?"

"Bakit ang tagal naman nilang lumabas?"
