Nanigas ako sa kinatatayuan ko. Linus and the others must be watching this too, alam kong nasa paligid lang sila at nagmamasid sa nangyayari.
Unti-unting bumukas ang malalaking pintuan at pumasok sa loob ang mga taong pinakahihintay ng lahat. I froze in my spot, kahit malayo ako sa kanya ay ramdam na ramdam ko ang kakaiba nilang aura.
Their power were too overwhelming for me to handle and all they did was walk in the red carpet.
Zeus, supposedly the god of gods, the god that defeated his own father and became king. The head and the most powerful of them all was wearing a jet black suit and tie. His muscles and huge body were sculptured in what he wore.
He had gray hair and beard and tenacious eyes that made him look like a big boss of some sort of mafia organization. Each step he took, he was looking ahead with his chin held up. Sa tabi niya ay isang babaeng mukhang mataray.
Nakasuot siya ng pula at mahabang bestida na humuhubog sa kanyang payat na katawan. Nakatali naman ang kanyang kayumanggi at kulot na buhok. Mapupula ang kanyang labi at malambing ang kanyang mga mata pero ramdam ko na may nakakatakot sa likod ng mga ito.
She looked looked like a twig with her frame when she was walking next to him with their arms linked. That's how big Zeus was.
Nakarating sila sa kanilang upuan at umupo si Zeus sa dulo ng mesa, nakaharap sa stage at sa tabi naman niya si Hera na katabi si Athena.
Bahagyang yumuko ang mga diyos at diyosa, sinenyasan naman sila ni Zeus kaya iniangat nila ang mga ulo nila at umupo.
"Where are the others?"
Mahina ang pagkakasabi ni Zeus but his voice was deep and vibrated through my ears. Boses palang niya nanginginig na ang kaluluwa ko. How am I supposed to leave this box in their table?
"Poseidon has an ongoing war in the sea" magalang na sagot ni Athena.
"Hades and Demeter are fighting somewhere because of family issues" dagdag pa ni Hermes.
"Hephaestus is at home, working on his inventions, yet again" sabi ni APhrodite habang kinukulot ang buhok niya gamit ang kanyang daliri.
"My twin sister is praying at her temple, she is mourning for her lost children." biglang dumating si Apollo, yung nag emcee kanina.
"That's why I told her to stop blessing mortal children" sabi ni Dionysus, obviously drunk already "She just blesses them then cry when they die to fight wars for her."
"Bacchus." Athena warned.
"Don't call me by my roman name, Minerva." sagot pa ni Dionysus sa kanya. Tiningnan siya ng masama ni Athena.
"Enough." sabi ni Zeus sa kanila. They were silent but I saw Ares snickering silently.
"Ares, I heard you lost another war." sabi ni Hera. Natigilan si Ares sa paglalaro ng kanyang wine at ibinaba ito.
"Things are not just going my way these days" sagot nito at nagbuntong hininga.
"Ayusin mo trabaho mo" biglang sabi ni Zeus sa kanya kaya umupo siya ng tuwid "Athena is always winning wars with smart strategies hindi tulad mo na puro sugod at hindi nag-iisip!"
Napayuko si Ares sa hiya. Pinagtawanan naman siya ng iba niyang mga kasama sa mesa.
Myghad, imagine being humiliated like this infront of gods and mortals. This must be why he wants to kill them so much.
