Katahimikan ang sumalubong sa akin pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko ng condo.

Blue let me go home after I made a deal with him, Napatango na lang ako ng maalala ang deal naming dalawa. He wanted me to sleep in his condo tomorrow, well, we will just sleep, nothing more, so I agreed.

"So that's him?"

"Ay palakang buhay!"

Halos mapatalon ako sa gulat ng may magsalita sa likod ko! Pagkaharap ko ay ang nakahalukipkip na Avrie ang sumalubong sa akin.

"Why are you scaring me like that?!" Inis na tanong ko.

"Tsh," umirap siya, "Pinabayaan mo si Cael para sa lalaking 'yon?"

What? What is she talking about?

"Pardon?"

"Importante si Cae-"

"Importante rin si Blue." I reasoned out, "Did you see what happened? Binugbog ni Cael si Blue!"

"We both know that Cael won't do that without a reason!"

"Still! That's not a valid reason to just punch someone! Blue went there to help me! And what did he got? He got punched by Cael, Av! He punched him!"

"Because his presence provoke him!"

"And why?!"

"Because of you!" she shouted. Natahimik ako roon. "If you don't want Cael being mad then stop telling him about that damn guy! Stop crying infront of Cael because of that man! Stop telling Cael how much you like that man because you're being insensitive! You're being selfish! Everything is valid when you're his reason, Sha!"

"You don't know what you're talking about!" tanggi ko.

"You're insane! You're crazy for that man? He doesn't even deserve you!"

"And Cael does?" I sarcastically asked, "You want me for Cael, am I right?"

"Dahil siya naman talaga ang mas karapat-dapat sayo, krisha! Can't you see? Cael was jealous! He was jealous!"

"Shut the fuck up, Avrie!" Sigaw ko, "Cael doesn't love me, why can't you understand that? I have a boyfriend, okay? Blue is my boyfriend! If you can't respect him as my boyfriend then respect my decision and respect me as your cousin! I don't need you nagging at me right now so please! Shut the fuck up!"

"I won't! You're blind! Nagbubulag-bulagan ka! Alam kong nararamdaman mong gusto mo siya dahil-"

"Kung gusto mo sya hindi mo kailangang sabihin 'yan sa akin, you don't hav-"

"What the fucking fuck? I don't have any feelings for him!" She shouted. "All I just want to say is . . . please." nagsusumamong ani nya.

"Give him a chance . . . you don't know what he been through because of his fucking feelings for you, let him try, Sha. Huwag naman yung isa lang ang pinagbigyan mo, 'wag kang selfish sa kaniya."

"At ako pa ang selfish?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko. "Can you hear yourself, Av?"

"Can you hear yourself, Sha?" balik tanong niya sa akin. "I was about to support your craziness about that man . . . All I asked you is to help me bring Cael home, iuuwi lang naman natin siya, Krisha. Ayon lang naman. Bakit naman pinagkait mo pa sa kaniya?"

"Av . . . Please, please understand that Blue needed me too." pilit na nagpapakamahinahong sabi ko. "Blue was hurt-"

"Cael was hurt too, Sha. You inflicted pain on him. Maybe he wasn't physically hurt but he's emotionally hurt."

Hindi ako nakapagsalita matapos niyang sabihin iyon. Kaya naman nag-iwas na lang ako ng tingin.

"You never choose him . . . Palagi mong pinaparamdam sa kaniya na takbuhan mo lang siya kapag nasasaktan ka. Kilala mo lang siya kapag nasasaktan ka roon sa isa. Ginagawa mo siyang panyo, Krisha. Ginagawa mo siyang pamunas sa sugat mo without knowing na mas malaking sugat ang binibigay mo sa kaniya."
