Blackmail

They slept soundly through the night, but morning came sooner than Rex would have liked. The knocking on the door made this evident as he hid his face into his pillow and pulled Ahsoka closer to him. “Go Away” Rex shouted at the door as Ahsoka cuddled into his chest “why are you yelling?” she whispered to him exhaustion evident in her voice. “There is someone at the door” “then go talk to them” she replied but before either of them could do anything the voice of Anakin Skywalkers yelled through the door “LET ME IN!!!!”. Both their eyes snapped open as rex moved to get out of the bed while Ahsoka fixed the bed and hid into the bathroom. Rex checked that everything looked ok then let General into his room.

               Anakin stood there with arms crossed no smile could be seen upon his face, but the moment the door opened he gave rex a mixed smile of knowing ness and I will kill you stance. Rex froze for a moment as he looked at the rather unhappy jedi knight before him. “Sir, would you like to come in?” Rex finally said coming out of shock. The Jedi did not wait a second and shoved past the clone looking around the room “you wouldn’t know where my padawan is would you Rex?” asked Anakin who now stood arms crossed and face like stone. “No sir” replied Rex, Anakin smiled and leaned against the far wall before raising an eyebrow at the clone, impressed that he could lie, granted he was protecting her. “You do understand that she is my Padawan, and that the main reason she is here is to be guided in the ways of the order, which includes forming no attachments” Rex resisted the urge to run to draw the obviously mad jedi away from his little Cyare. “And you are the perfect teacher to do so sir” Rex replied. Anakin resisted the urge to smile at his Captions obvious humor “How so?” he asked instead. “Well sir you have such great relations with other Jedi, Clones and even certain Senators” replied Rex keeping his face as straight as possible.

               Anakin just stared in shock at the clone “How the hell do you know?” Rex smiled at his General “All I know sir is that you are correct, Jedi are not allowed to have relations with others in that manner, and if the council where to find out….” Rex did not even finish the sentence. As his generals’ mouth was slightly agape in total shock, he could not believe his Caption was blackmailing him……. he was right but what the hell. Anakin cleared his throat and using the force opened the door to the bathroom, causing a certain Padawan to fall out, Rex immediately went to help her up. “Ahsoka you are to meet me out side in fifteen minutes for training, Rex last I checked you have a squad to run pt. with, and if I ever find out that you have gotten her pregnant before getting married……..” Anakin activated his lightsaber giving him a slight green glow. Rex gulped and tried to shield his Cyare from the annoyed jedi knight. “Yes sir,” replied Rex. Anakin let the threat hang in the air for a while before deactivating his weapon and leaving.

               Rex looked behind him to the shocked Togruta before pulling her into a hug and kissing her montral, making her shiver slightly. “Told you it would be ok” said Rex rubbing her shoulders gently before pulling her into a deep kiss.
