While Rex and Ahsoka began their mission another event was taking place in the Jedi temple.
Barris Offee was meditating calmly in her room, "Padawan Offee '' luminaria's voice came over the coms shaking Barris out of her meditation. "Yes master?" she replied.
"The supreme chancellor needs a guard for the next twenty four hours, I am unable to cover it myself, can I trust you to do this?" asked Luminaria ''Of course master" said Barrais.
Once she got to the supreme chancellor's office it had become night and most if not all the senators had left for the night. "Ah Padawan Offee, I was informed of your arrival" said the chancellor as Barris walked in.
"Chancellor I am your security for the next twenty four hours" replied Barris bowing as she did. The chancellor smiled and nodded his head, good I have to work on a special project today child and I will be all the better for the company".
Barris and the chancellor left the senate building not too long after and entered his personal ship, "Not to pry sir but what is the project?" asked Barrais sitting in a chair that was on the poison end of the ship.
The chancellor smiled at Barris and did something she never expected, pressed a button on his seat and trapped her. Barris began to panic not knowing what was going on shouting for the piolet to help her, that was until she saw who the pilot was.
Count Dooku.
Her voice died in her throat as the chancellor's façade fell showing himself as the Sith lord, "you wished to know what the project was child?" Dooku asked
"To turn a peace loving Jedi into my newest spy" finished Cidius. Barris began to shout through the force to her master, Ahsoka, Master Obi-wan, Master Skywalker and even Cody.
But it was in vain.
Nothing went through.
Soon she was knocked out by a needle to her throat.
