Two Worlds, One Heart (Rexsoka)

    “Ah good to see you have finally decided to join us” said an annoyed Skywalker as the couple walked onto the bridge. Rex winced under his helmet and stood behind Ahsoka as she took her place on his left. “What do you need us for master?” asked Ahsoka her hands clasped behind her back “well Snips, there is some bad news” said General Skywalker turning to look at his padawan, wishing at that moment he didn’t have to tell her this news.

“the planet of Shel has been invaded and the people taken to the slave world Turning” figuring the best way to deal with the situation was to rip off the band aid, but his face looked over to his student with a mix of sadness and concern. Ahsoka turned to look at her master expecting him to say ‘it’s a joke snips chill’ or something like that but when she looked at his face, she had to fight her emotions from showing.

Both Rex and Anakin could feel the pain coming off her in waves, “how? When? Are we going to invade the planet? Master those are my people I cannot just- ““Whoa, calm down snips, the council and yours truly has a plan to save them……but we need both you and Captain Rex’s help”.

Ahsoka looked at her master skeptically “and what do we have to do?” Anakin grinned nervously “well you are to be our gift to the quean slaver”.

Most of the men on the bridge ducked ready for the Padawan Jedi to explode, even Rex was looking for cover.

“Excuse me!” Ahsoka said now facing her master who was backing up slightly “you won’t really be a gift it’s just the only way they would let us in”.

If Skywalker were anyone else Rex would have probably murdered him by now.

               “so, what I’m the bait?” asked Ahsoka “No you’re the spy” said Anakin hands up in surrender. This stopped Ahsoka from her rant. “so, what would I have to do?” Rex listened quietly biting his lip to not yell at the general for putting Ahsoka in so much danger.

“You are going to have to dress up like a slave and gain access to the logs of where they have your people” said Anakin Ahsoka crossed her arms and sighed “just so long as I don’t look ridiculous”.

“well Kix says that he can help you look the part, and Rex is going to need a makeover as well” said Skywalker glancing at Rex.

Rex looked back at his general but the fear on his face was masked by his helmet “sorry sir?” “you will be going as my personal slave” said Skywalker “and you are to be her bodyguard” Rex felt better knowing that he would be watching over her but he still had a knot in his stomach, he didn’t like the idea of her being in this much danger.

               Anakin smiled at the couple then dismissed them telling them to report to med bay to get their disguises ready. “Ahsoka are you ok?” asked Rex in the empty hallway Ahsoka stayed silent not responding her fear ever growing in her chest. Rex sighed and pulled her into an empty room, taking off his helmet he looked into her eyes “hey its ok, you don’t have to pretend ok?”.

Ahsoka hugged him hiding her face in his chest and let out a couple of tears. “my family was on that planet, what if they are gone? What if they have been sold already?” Rex rubbed her back gently holding her close to him.

“shh, it will be ok we will save them, I promise, we won’t let them get sold or worse ok?” Rex kissed her mountain and felt the familiar shiver of pleasure that runs through her body when he does that.

               They stayed like that for a couple minutes until Ahsoka calmed down and was ready to face her men, Rex on the other hand would not let her out of his arms unless she convinced him she was ok.

“Rex will you just let me go?” “no, you are still all worked up and“Rex’s sentence was cut off by Ahsoka kissing him causing him to lose focus on what he was not only saying but trying to do.

Resulting in Ahsoka slipping from his grip and leaving the room while he was still in his daze. Snapping out of it he realized what she did “Hey!!!” he practically shouted and run after her, she was running to the med bay as fast as she could laughing.

               Once they entered it Rex looked around to make sure only Kix was there before he picked her up and laid her on one of the medical beds and proceeded to tickle her.

Kix on the other hand shook his head and started to record their antics. “If you two are quite finished?” Kix replied once he had collected sufficient recording “Commander Tano needs to try this on And you” he pointed to rex “need to change your face”

Rex looked at him funny “Excuse me?” Kix rolled his eyes and shoved some gold and blue clothes at Ahsoka directing her towards a room.

“Don’t worry you will get to see her before you get your makeover” said Kix as Rex visibly saddened from her departure.

Rex straightened up and smiled “what is with you? Did you two end up-“ Rex stopped him before he could finish “no. I sort asked her to marry me” Kix stared at him half in shock and half proud

“Congrats Captain, have you read the data disk I gave you yet?” Rex shook his head “why do you have that any way?” crossing his arms.

Kix held up his arms in surrender “hey I’m just trying to help” “sure, and I’m Jedi General Yoda” said Rex. “What do you not want to know how to keep your girl?” asked Kix with an eyebrow raised

“there is keeping my Fiancé and then there is just plain weird K-“ Rex stopped talking the moment Ahsoka walked in.

               Rex could feel his jaw dropping to the ground, she wore a gold top that highlighted her physic and left very little to the imagination while remaining tasteful, the skirt was see through blue wrap with a gold mini skirt underneath.

On her head was a headdress that made her look like a princess in Rex’s opinion, but he was drawn in by her face, looking down and away from Rex he could tell she was not comfortable in this getup.

Practically leaping to his feet and picking her up he grinned at the little Togruta “you look gorgeous” Ahsoka turned red right before Rex kissed her.

This was the first time they had kissed in front of someone and although she wanted to pull away, she found too much comfort in his touch.

So, she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. They were eventually brought out of it by a loud clatter.

Jumping away from each other they looked around, there in the doorway stood Echo, Heavy and Fives all with their mouths open and their helmets on the floor.

               “WHAT!!!!!!” said Echo,

“Yes, Kix you owe me some credits” said fives

“ha, more like you owe me” replied Kix, Heavy was just staring at them.

Ahsoka blushed red and hid her face into Rex’s chest, Rex finally taking the hint glared at his brothers slightly jealous that they could see his girl dressed in such a provocative way. Rex began to explain to his brothers what had been happening.
