Two Worlds, One Heart (Rexsoka)

Packing for Naboo

    Ahsoka woke up to a cold bed, her hand reaching out for Rex’s warm body.

“Rexy?” she whispered her voice groggy as herself.

Looking around the room she noticed he was not there, she shivered at the cold of the room, wrapping a blanket around   to keep her warm she looked out the window of the base. Down below she could see Rex and the rest of the 501st doing their morning PT, she smiled to herself as she watched him barking at Fives who was goofing around. Just as she shivered again Rex froze and looked up to his room where she looked down.

He smiled at her and she felt warmth fill her as she felt him through their bond, there was a small knock at the door breaking her out of her thoughts. Kix walked into the room but stopped suddenly, “uh bad time?” he held his medical bag and gestured to her chest.

Ahsoka smiled and nodded, Kix set down his kit before she sat on the bed. “have you had any alcohol in the last two weeks?” he asked as he got out his scanner. He checked the bandages and scanned her chest and head before smiling.

“looks like your all clear, not even a trace of what that bantha did to you, which brings me to the second reason why I’m here. I need a sample of your blood” he said smiling at her as he got out another device. Rex walked into the room, first froze at the sight of Kix but when Kix nodded he walked over to Ahsoka planting a kiss to her forehead and pulling her into his lap.

“ewwww your all sweaty” she exclaimed giggling playfully pushing away from him. “nope your mine now” he said as he pulled her in closer playfully nibbling her neck as he spoke causing her to shriek with laughter.

“ok you two stop with the grossness” Skywalker stated as he walked in, Ahsoka cuddled into Rex’s arms more and wrapped herself more in the blanket. Rex smiled at her disobedience and kissed her temple causing her to giggle.

Skywalker rolled his eyes and continued “anyway, you three get your buts to the ship, we are heading to Naboo for some clever debating, Plo Koon will be staying here to oversee the rest of the invasion”.

“why are we leaving?” asked Ahsoka her voice full of confusion “the senator is holding a special debate and has requested that there be a jedi presence along with a couple of trusted troopers, how about it Rex? Kix? Sound like fun” asked Anakin.

“wouldn’t miss it for the world” replied Kix as Rex just smiled down at Ahsoka “count me in” replied Rex as he placed his head on Ahsoka’s shoulder.

Skywalker rolled his eyes at the couple before turning to Kix, “don’t forget to tell the boys”. Ahsoka looked at her master with a raised marking, “don’t forget to tell the boys what?”. Anakin smiled “nothing for you to worry about Snips, oh and please take a shower you two………….separately”.

He left after that and a couple of minutes latter Kix left sniggering slightly at Skywalker’s remark. Rex rolled his eyes at Kix before nibbling at Ahsoka’s neck causing her to giggle “Rex go take a shower”, Rex shook his head before kissing her cheek and temple “no, I like kissing you”. Ahsoka smiled before turning her head to meet his next kiss, Rex smiled into the kiss as Ahsoka unwrapped his arms from around her.

When they broke away Ahsoka got up giggling, Rex shook his head slightly annoyed he fell for that trick again before holding up his hands in surrender. “I concede the battle, I am man enough to know when I am beaten, I am now your prisoner General Tano” Ahsoka laughed and shoved him playfully “then I order you to go take a shower you stink” Rex laughed before getting up and kissing her forehead then walked into the bathroom.

Ahsoka grabbed her sabers and tossed them into her bag before grabbing her Jedi robe, she froze for a second as she looked for the small toy Togruta she had owned since she was a little girl, closing her eyes remembering that it had been destroyed by Lux.

 She sighed before grabbing her data pad and put it in the bag, ready for the next mission. It was a while before Rex came back out with his blackies and armor on he smiled at Ahsoka before kissing her quickly and packing his own bag.

“ready for Naboo Rexy?’ she smiled at him once he had done. “most defiantly, cant wait to stand guard while the general slinks off with his wife, so ready….” His voice was full of sarcasm as he looked down at his own almost empty bag.

One of the drawbacks of being a clone was the rule about owning personal objects that was not weapons or armor. “least you get to stand guard I have to deal with the senators and other snobs, ‘oh you are to small to be a jedi’, ‘are you sure you are old enough’ ‘can I see your lightsaber’” Ahsoka said jokingly as she mimicked a high class voice causing Rex to laugh.

“I thought you where more for the calm and forgiving attitude” asked Rex as he tried to grab her. “I am, unless they are being rude” she replied moving out of his reach. The door opened as Echo and Fives walked in “you two ready or what?” asked Echo just as Ahsoka ran past him into the corridor.

“ill take that as a yes” replied Echo in a deadpan voice.
