The ship finally landed onto the Planit Valkini, a distant inhabited moon of Naboo, close enough to Padme and Plo Koon in case something happened. Just as they where in the final approach to the planet Kix pulled Rex outside the Med bay much to Rex's annoyance. "Rex you need to be careful" whispered Kix once the door closed behind him "she is recovering quickly and health for what you have planned but she still needs shots and checkups. Her body didn't take that paralytic how I thought it would, and you know how the longnecks dispose of clones, her neck might be permanently damaged if she doesn't take it easy" Rex crossed his arms as his poker face graced his face before a horror-stricken one. "I really wish Skywalker let us stop them from doing that to her" Rex's reply was thick with guilt, but Kix shook his head "No. Now they think that she's dead and you're free to not only carry on with your wife. And Yoda told us to expect the worst along with what kind of paralytic they might use. Look all I'm saying is she needs rest".
Rex nodded understanding before replying "Have you met her? You might want to tell her to take it easy too you know. She's stubborn, tuff and most definitely going to disobey that order" Kix smiled "I have, I'm telling her husband. Now it's your problem" Rex slung both Ahsoka and his bags onto his back before collecting the map to their new home, then walked right past him to Ahsoka in the med bay. He picked her up in a bridal carry and off the ship.
The moment he stepped outside he was hit with a gust of fresh air, there was a small village with multiple different homes with different designs. Rex also noted that although the village was colorful it appeared to be vacant as the sun finally set behind a line of trees on the far side of the village. He didn't care to much about neighbors though and as they neared their home it struck him at not only how quaint it was but at the same time functional.
With white and blue outer walls that matched most of the other homes, Rex was more concerned about holding his wife close to his body more than the color of their new home. She was exhausted from the trip and he was sure that the moment her head hit the pillow she would be out like a light. He couldn't help the grin that appeared on his face when he remembered how hers looked as he pulled her from the dangerous drop, then again the kiss they had shared after was something that sent shivers down his spine as well.
He walked past the small living room and up some floating stairs, he noticed there where two doors at the top of the landing with two more to his right, deciding to look inside later he tried for the first door. This was a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. He closed the door and tried the next one.
This had to be their room, with a large bed and comfy looking covers it looked extremely comfortable. Though the only light source was candles set on the side tables and the windowsill, giving the room a very romantic Hugh. Rex carefully laid Ahsoka down on the bed, pulling the covers back for her to stay warm in, he had just turned away from her when he felt her hand in his.
He looked down at her confused, her eyes where wide and scared. he immediately dropped down next to her. Before he could even ask what was wrong her lips met his. His mind drew blank as he kissed his wife, now acutely aware of how her soft hands felt in his, he felt his hands move on their own accord as they gently cupped her cheek and deepened the kiss.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Rex was the first to speak out of the two, his voice ruff and gravely as he spoke "I love you Ahsoka Tano" he was sweaty as his body shook slightly above her, Ahsoka smiled kissing him deeply before whispering against his lips "and I love you Rex Tano". Rex chuckled a little as he kissed her lips gently, Ahsoka wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.
When they finally broke apart from the kiss Rex rolled onto his back, his arm still around Ahsoka who cuddled up against him her skin touching his. Rex smiled as he pulled the covers over them, but as he did Ahsoka looked around the room and gasped. She sat up and pulled the covers to her chest before shaking Rex slightly. Rex was slightly confused but once he looked around, he understood why she had reacted like that.
All around the room the candles had either exploded or where no more, as was most of the furniture that was there. The wardrobe he had not seen before had its doors cracked and falling to pieces, while the nightstands now looked like a pile of splinters. Rex looked over to the window and saw something that terrified him.
The beautiful glass window that had reflected the candlelight before was now cracked as the first rays of morning flooded threw them casting an eerie affect around the room.
"did we do that?" asked Ahsoka as she gripped her blankets to her chest slightly scared, Rex wrapped an arm around her as he kissed her forehead. "I think we did" replied Rex as looked at the damage before grinning and looking down at his wife "want to do it again?".
He kissed her shoulder that bore his helmet markings, his claim to her and his loyalty forever inked into her skin. Ahsoka blushed before moving so she sat on his lap and kissing him deeply as her response.
