Two Worlds, One Heart (Rexsoka)

Mandalore in Peril

Ahsoka's point of view as she hides on Mandalore 

It had been only a month on the beautiful planet of Mandalore and she was bored. Her people while being very affectionate and kind to her were starting to get on her nerves, and since her family had been one of the few killed in the slave auction by the pit she had no one to really talk to. This forced her to visit the duchess and Lilium, after about three days with Lilium Ahsoka figured out not only her parentage but also the fact that Lilium was a Jedi who had grown up outside of the temple. If it had not been for both her new friend and Rex's daily calls she would not have stayed sane.

"so you have anything else to do today?" asked Ahsoka as she laid on a couch in Liliums apartment, she was finishing up her school work on the armchair. "no mom is trying to get home early too, you staying for dinner again Soka?" asked Liliums, they became fast friends over the course of the last month, being close to the same age helped.

"If its alright with the three of you" she replied sitting up feeling a little off, "you have any meat and chocolate Lil?" she asked her stomach grumbling. "you know I know Togrutans physiology can eat raw meat but chocolate covered is just wrong" replied Lilium as she closed her textbook and got up to get Ahsoka some food. It took her a while to find a good piece that wouldn't be used for dinner before grabbing the chocolate sauce and set both items on the breakfast counter for her. "so you going to get another call today from your hot hubby?" asked Lil giggling as Ahsoka got up groaning slightly from her exhaustion.

"another ruff night?" asked Lil as she fixed herself some tea as she watched Ahsoka make her way over to the breakfast counter, "yes I keep throwing up too its beginning to drive me insane" she replied as she pulled her self up onto a stool and poured the chocolate onto the meat. Lil grimaced as she watched her eat the odd food before freezing, her mouth dropped open.

But before she could confess the idea that had popped into her head there was a loud explosion that shook the windows of the apartment.

Lilium's head snapped to the palace that was now smoking, Korkie walked into the living room rubbing his eyes still in his pajamas, "Sisi what's going on" he said as he looked at his older sister and Ahsoka. Just as another loud explosion sounded from the palace shaking the apartment so much it fractured the glass windows overlooking the planet. Lilium didn't speak she just ran and grabbed her little brother as Ahsoka grabbed the go-bag that the Kenobi's kept in the closet by the door.

"We need to get to the ship before they figure out where we are," said Ahsoka as she ran down the hall with Lil and Korkie behind her only for all three of them to come skidding to a halt. Pre Vizsla stood with the deathwatch smiling at them "hello children".

Ahsoka moves in between them in such a way that it blocked them from sight, "get out of our way" she growled at him. "No" he replied causing Ahsoka to activate her lightsabers, The Pre Vizsla smiled evilly as he spoke "very well, I cant wait to hang your hide on your wall" right before he signaled the attack to the night watch.

She managed to do minimal damage to the first two that tried to go for the children, but one of her sabers was knocked out of her hand before pushing her back. This moved them back the way they came. "go back into the apartment Lil" Ahsoka shouted as she headbutted one of the deathwatch that had their helmet off then threw the go bag to her, "what about you?" asked Lil as she walked backward activating her own saber as she handed the bag to Korkie who slung it over his shoulder before grabbing his sisters arm out of fear.

"Just GO!" Ahsoka screamed pushing them through the door with the force and closing it. When she turned back around she saw the Pre Vizsla grin at her before he attacked with a shock stick, Ahsoka blocked as best she could her body's exhaustion betraying her slightly as she staggered back. The Pre Vizsla smiled at her "what's the matter youngling? To tiered to fight?" his voice was dark and dangerous as his twisted smile made Ahsoka want to get rid of what little she had managed to eat that day.

"do you still require a man to fight, or is it that you have become lazy in your exile," he asked once more before attacking her. Ahsoka panted slightly as she blocked and attempted to go for his exposed side, only to be hit with the shock staff in the small of her back. She screamed loudly as her body writhed in pain falling to the ground and dropping her remaining saber.

The Pre Vizsla laughed as he hit her again with the stick causing her to curl up into a fetal position trying to make herself smaller. "I would love to use you as a toy little one, but I believe you might prove to be more useful as a present to Darth maul." He said as he bent down to see her fear-filled eyes "maybe even as a breeding mate" he chuckled as he said this causing her to try and crawl away from him before he grabbed her leg painfully and hit her hard across the head.

She fell to the ground out cold as he stood but as darkness filled her vision she heard breaking glass before the night watch broke down the door. She could barely hear anything but could make out the voice of the Pre Vizsla spoke into his coms "Darth Maul, I have the Jedi" as he looked down at Ahsoka, "Bring the female to the palace, I am sure we can find some use for her" Ahsoka's heart beat faster as she recognized the voice of the fallen Sith Apprentice before she finally passed out.
