The clones had ran to the jedi temple after the discovered that Ahsoka had gone missing.

“you have to let us through, we need to se General Skywalker” yelled Rex at the Jedi guards who where simply ignoring Rex.

Rex on the other hand was beginning to lose his wits as he screamed at the Jedi guards.

“is there a problem Captain Rex?” asked Shaak ti who had walked up to them outside the temple. “Master Shaak Ti” exclaimed Fives as Echo snapped to attention.

Shaak ti smiled at the pair “it is good to see you two again, I trust you have found your place in this war?”

Fives and Echo nodded before Rex tried to get past the guards again.

“is there anything I can help you with Captain Rex?” Asked Shaak Ti once again her voice calm as ever.

“I need to talk to General Skywalker, its about his padawan” replied Rex who was now dropping the sirs in panic.

Shaak Ti smiled at his informality, she knew that Ahsoka has probably something to do with that, it made her feel better knowing that one of her first students was starting to learn to relax.

“I can call him down if you wish” she supplied making Rex nod vigorously. “please, can you sir?” his voice was pleading.

“call who?” asked Anakin Skywalker as he walked out of the temple, Rex glared at the temple guards stony faced masks.

“sir we need your help” supplied Fives before Rex cut in “Ahsoka has been kidnapped”.

The silence was cut short by Skywalker grabbing Rex and fives by the scruffs of their necks, Echo and Shaak Ti followed them close behind as they walked to Skywalkers personal ship.

“Sir?” asked Fives who was now a little scared of the Jedi who was fuming. “talk Rex” Anakin Growled out as he threw the two into the ship.

“we where at 79’s, Fox found us and we left her alone, then some Slyvine took her. The barman says he’s a Onderon, fancy looking and some senator’s son.

Please we have to figure out how to find this bantha” supplied Rex who was now staring at a piece of the ship with murderous glare.

“how did you let that happen?” asked Anakin his voice low and dangerous.

“Fox called her a slut and Rex sort of beat the crap out of him” Fives responded.

“are you her mate?” the whole room went quiet again as all their heads snapped to Shaak Ti who was calm and serine figure scared the clones more than Skywalker ever could.  

“Mate?” asked Rex confused “she is my fiancé, does that count?” Shaak Ti smiled “yes it does Captain. A Togruta’s mate is the same thing as a husband or wife. Would also explain a few things. Have you two mated yet or bonded in any way?”

“Hu?” they all looked at her weird.

She places a hand to her head annoyed “have you two had any sexual intercourse or any type of marriage ritual?”

Anakin whipped his head to Rex pissed off, Rex on the other hand shook his head “no we haven’t, I don’t know of any other bonding you could be talking about”

“what about when you two where close to death?” asked Echo.

“yea, Kix said that Ahsoka was in way worse condition than Rex but all of a sudden she was getting better while he got worse.” Replied Fives

“how the hell do you know about that?” asked Anakin

“Kix bunks with us and he always leaves his papers out, plus we sort of made him tell us” replied Echo.

“is Rex force sensitive?” asked Shaak TI as Anakin commed Kix to come over to his ship.

“yes, he is Master Yoda was able to bring him back from Ahch- To, somehow Rex managed to project himself there” Anakin stated as he began to prep the ship to take off.

“what exactly did you do there?” she asked Rex who was now sitting down his head in his hands.

“he said I couldn’t bring her back, I had to call  out for her, then something was supposed to judge me and the next thing I know I woke up” Rex answered his voice shaking.

Anakin and Shaak Ti exchanged looks before she spoke again “was it like a rope or something that looked as if it was a piece of her?”

“yea, there was this animal thing that seemed to be guarding it too” replied Rex

There was a loud thud as Anakin dropped a metal box in shock, his mouth open as he looked at Rex.

“generals medic reporting for duty” said Kix as he walked onto the ship “what’s wrong with him?” he said pointing at Anakin.

“he’s just coming to the realization that his padawan has forced bonded with Captain Rex” replied Shaak Ti her voice calm as she spoke.

“what does that mean exactly, because right now this talking isn’t getting us anywhere, she is hurt and scared and I need to find her” Rex almost yelled Jumping up and yelling at the general direction of the female Jedi.

Shaak Ti just smiled at him “how do you know she is hurt and scared?”

Rex froze realizing what she was saying, “wait hang on your telling me that Rex can feel Ahsoka?” asked Kix

“I’m saying that Rex is now our best chance of finding her” she stated taking a seat on the ship “and I’m coming with”.
