Two Worlds, One Heart (Rexsoka)

Rex and Ahsoka cuddled in bed, the early morning slowly drifting through the open window, Rex smiled as he slowly woke up finding Ahsoka's sleeping form next to him. He kissed her forehead before slowly stroking her lekue, Ahsoka slowly woke up and blushed. 

"Rex, you know those are sensitive" she mumbled into his shoulder, Rex smiled "oh I'm sorry I forgot" Ahsoka mumbled something that sounded like sure you did. Rex laughed kissing her cheek before wrapping his arms around her, "still couldn't believe the boys last night". "I couldn't believe you last night" she muttered. Rex kissed her on the lips gently "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable". 

Ahsoka blushed before kissing him deeply, Rex smiled into the kiss and cupped her cheek gently. Ahsoka moaned into the kiss as she felt his other hand pull her closer to him. 

Then the door to their room opened suddenly, Rex and Ahsoka broke apart as the clones from the 501st rushed into the room. Rex's instincts took over as he pushed Ahsoka behind him, Rex was still to tiered to be thinking clearly but he knew that his brothers had either gone insane or this was joke. "Echo, what the hell get out, all of you get out" Rex yelled as he pried Echo's hands off of Ahsoka, Kix and Fives in turn grabbed Rex's right arm and managed to pull him off the bed. Dogma and Tup grabbing his left as Heavy grabbed Ahsoka with her hands held behind her back, Rex could feel his panic starting to rise as he saw her being dragged out of the room. 

"AHSOKA!!!!" Rex yelled now fighting with all his might to break free from his brothers grip. "LET ME GO!!!!" He yelled Rex as he tried to move forward. He managed to move a foot towards the door before Hardcase put him into a headlock and all five of them forced Rex to his knees, Rex still fought his brothers to get to Ahsoka as General Plo Join and Skywalker walked into the room. 

"Captain Rex, calm down" said Plo Koon as he crossed his arms. "No, Where is Ahsoka" Rex yelled as he pulled and tugged on his arms. 

"Captain Rex" this voice was not either of the generals. It was feminine but demanded attention, it was also very familiar. 

Rex looked up and saw Jedi Master Shaak Ti enter the room. 

"You wish for my daughters hand in marriage correct?" She said her voice calm as ever, as if she had just not just said 'my daughter'. 

"Your what!" Exclaimed Skywalker as he looked at her shock evident on his face. 

"Oh man" muttered Heavy. 

"Of course she is"  Dogma said under his breath. 

Rex finally broke free of his brothers grip and stood in front of Shaak Ti, "yes I want to marry your daughter". His voice was calm like hers but inside his chest his heart was beating a million miles an hour. 

Shaak Ti smiled "before you can wed my daughter you must prove your worth as a hunter, a soldier and as a husband to be, complete three tasks before night fall and I will allow you into my clan" 

"I will do anything you ask me to, but is she safe" he asked his voice faltering slightly. Shaak Ti smiled and nodded before she spoke "she is fine, although I think Heavy, Jessie and Cut Up will need some assistance from you Kix, my daughter seems to have quite the bite and they might have a couple of broken ribs" 

Rex couldn't help but grin as he thought of his girl fighting to get back to him just as he fought to get to her. 

"Rex get dressed in these, then meet us outside for your first trial" said Plo Koon as he handed Rex a bundle of Jedi clothes. 

Rex nodded and everyone left so he could get ready.
