Two Worlds, One Heart (Rexsoka)

Ahsoka was just entering the barracks on a visit to rex when she heard someone’s voice yelling for her.

Turning around she saw the snooty pencil like boy from the senate building, turning back around she quickened her pace to get to Rex’s room and to Rex. She turned the corner now only a few feet away from Rex’s door when she ran into fives.

Literally.

“commander! I’m so sorry are you ok?” Fives yelled as he helped her back to her feet, Ahsoka took this time to look around for the scrawny boy but did not see him.

She looked back to Fives who was picking up his data pad, “did you see someone following me just now?” she asked, a little nervous.

Fives on the other hand shook his head before walking off to the direction she just came.

Ahsoka took another look around before walking over to Rex’s door, she entered his password which she was surprised to find out the other day was her name.

Blushing slightly at the memory and at his shyness when he told her, she smiled to herself as the door opened and let her in. She looked around and found that Rex was not there, slightly saddened by this discovery she laid down on the bed and decided to take a couple minutes for a nap before Rex came back or she had to go back to her studies.

It seemed like only a couple minutes before she was woken up from her nap with a kiss on the cheek and a familiar scent.

She opened her eyes looking up at Rex who had now changed out of his armor and was now wearing a simple civilian outfit, he stroked her cheek before speaking.

“hey sleepyhead” Ahsoka smiled before replying “going out with the boys?” “yea, and if you get changed you can come too” Rex replied pulling her up and off the bed.

Ahsoka giggled before grabbing some clothes she had stashed there in case they needed to get going in a hurry.

Rex smiled and kissed her before she went into the refresher to change, he sat on the bed and couldn’t help but think just how lucky he was.

A couple of minutes later she walked out in a simple shirt and pants, though it was simple it enhanced her beauty to Rex, who got off the bed and wrapped her in his arms before kissing her.

“what was that for?” she asked a little shocked but happy all the same, Rex simply smiled before answering “I love you Cyare”

Ahsoka smiled and nuzzled into his chest “I love you too Rexy”.

After a couple of minutes they left the room and headed to 79’s, the walk there was not to bad and once they where out of sight of the base Rex put his arm around her waist insisting it was more comfortable.

Ahsoka giggled as he pulled her close to his side, “your cute when your protective” Rex blushed before scratching his neck with his free hand.

“I just don’t like people so close to you when your with me” Ahsoka looked at him with an eyebrow raised before giggling and kissing his cheek.

“hey get a room” yelled a very familiar voice, they both turned to see Fives and Echo waving at them from across the street.

Rex and Ahsoka crossed the street to join them “you look good Commander” said Echo as he hugged her.

“Watch it vod,” grumbled Rex who pulled Ahsoka back into his arms tickling her slightly causing her to giggle.

“this is cute and all but I need a drink if im going to have to deal with the power couple being cute for the rest of the night” Fives replied as he walked into 79’s.

Rex smiled as Ahsoka laughed walking in with Echo behind them. Fives was already at the bar ordering drinks and trying to chat up a twi'lek girl who was just ignoring him.

Rex smiled and directed Ahsoka to a booth that would easily fit their numbers before sitting down and lifting her onto his lap.

“I still cant believe how fast you recovered after your little stunt man” Fives had returned with drinks as Echo had started to ask questions.

Ahsoka on the other hand kissed Rex before he could respond, stalling for time.

Rex had already told Yoda, Kix, Ahsoka and Anakin that he didn’t want his brothers to know about the fact he had the same gifts of a Jedi.

Echo cleared his throat causing Ahsoka and Rex to break up from their make out session.

Ahsoka muttering an apology as Rex grinned ear to ear.

 Fives laughed at their blushing faces “sorry Vod” Rex replied as he rubbed Ahsoka’s arm in a small thank you before answering “you can thank Ahsoka for my fast recovery after the incident with the chip, she disobeyed Kix’s orders and force healed me”.

Echo and Fives smiled, exchanging looks between them before thanking Ahsoka who blushed red, Rex took the drink that was in front of him and took a swig right as Fives asked “so you two sleeping together yet?”.

Rex coughed and spluttered almost inhaling his drink, Fives grinned ear to year “so yes then? I cant wait to tell Kix and the General”.

Rex had gained back his voice though it was raspy ad hoarse “no we haven’t, and don’t you dare Id like to live to see tomorrow”.

Echo and Fives howled with laughter at Rex and Ahsoka’s red face, Just as Rex started to tell them off Ahsoka felt something off about the room, as though someone was watching her.

Rex tightened his arms around her feeling her discomfort before taking a sip of his drink again, Echo was wiping a tear out of his eye as he clutched his chest “im sorry Vod, but with how often you two are together we kind of figured you two where doing more than just kissing” replied Fives as he took a sip of his drink.

Rex smiled evilly at the two of them “five hundred push ups and mess duty for that comment Vod” Echo groaned annoyed pushing his brother lightly in the arm.

Ahsoka giggled at Rex’s comment, Rex smiled at her before kissing her cheek before she pulled him into a long kiss.

“Captain, Commander, what the hell do you think your doing” a familiar voice half whispered half yelled at the two before trying to pull Ahsoka off Rex’s lap.

Rex on the other hand moved her behind him in the booth and turned to look at the intruder.

Commander Fox glared at him, normally Rex would have laughed off Fox’s stiff mood but right now he wasn’t too keen on Fox pushing his weight around.

“Back off Vod” whispered Rex matching Fox’s tone.

“we need to talk…. Outside” Fox didn’t even wait for Rex to respond he just grabbed Rex and dragged him out, Ahsoka made to follow them before Echo shook his head and followed  the two out with Fives right behind him.

Ahsoka on the other hand stayed where she was, just as she made to get out of the booth she felt that weird feeling again.

She was being watched alright.

As Ahsoka spun around to try and find the person watching her a hand grabbed her forearms  she spun around ready to fight the person that had grabbed her when a needle was stuck into her neck causing her to drop.

Just as the world faded into nothing ness she could make out the face of her attacker.

It was the same person following her, and the same face as one of the separatist senators son.
