The Proposal

Goodbye my Love

The days pass by in a blur . Sansa and Jon make an emotional trip to the crypts . Jon pays his respects to his mother , Ned Stark and Robb . It's an emotional trip and Jon leans into Sansa for support .

Jon and Sansa decide to make a trip to the Hot Springs to relax a little before the final dinner at Winterfell . They enjoy the water together . They swim together and Jon pulls her into a kiss . They kiss passionately and things start heating up rapidly . Sansa can feel how much Jon wants her .
She is having trouble controlling herself as well . Sansa stops herself and looks at Jon . 

" I think we should get back Sansa ."

" Yes , lets get back ."

They both reluctantly get out , get dressed and start heading back to the castle .

The dinner is a quiet affair and Jon spends most of his time talking to Bran . They hold hands underneath the table . Sansa wants to wrap up early because she wants to spend her last evening with him alone . She excuses herself and kisses Bran on the head and makes her way to her  chamber .

She's been thinking of something endlessly and she finally gives herself permission to act on it . She knows that Jon will be leaving permanently now and she wants to remember this night . She goes back to her chambers and gets ready for Jon to come to her room.

An hour later Jon comes in . Sansa is not in the bedroom 's outer chambers . Jon walks into the bedroom .
There is a  beautifully wrapped large  box  in the middle of the bed . And slightly  smaller wrapped box next to it. 
Sansa enters , she looks radiant and her blue eyes are sparkling .

" You look radiant ."

" Thank you . You look very handsome yourself."

" What is all this ?"

" Well , they are gifts . This box is for Arya , there are some letters in here for her and some clothes I made for her . Can you please make sure she gets everything and tell her I miss her . I want her to come and see me before she goes on her adventure ."

" Yes my Lady I will give her your gifts and letters and tell her that you miss her . I know she is planning on coming back soon . She was waiting for things to settle in King's Landing before she returned to Winterfell , but it's taken a lot longer than anyone expected .
What is in this large box? "

" That is for you ."

"Sansa , you did not have to get me anything ."

" Don't be silly , I did not get you anything . I made it for you . Well I made a few things for you."

Jon looks at her , he is touched .

" Well aren't you going to open the box ?"

" Yes of course."

Jon opens the box slowly and carefully . The box actually is separated into different compartments and each compartment is covered in linen .There are several tunics each one with beautiful embroidery on the sleeves and neckline , they are all different shades and if you look closely there are Stark sigals embroidered near the heart . There are two jerkins made of expensive material . In brown and black . Sansa tells him the jerkins will cover the sigals in case anyone is offended by him wearing the Stark sigal close to his heart . He knows she is referring to Dany , and it makes him wince inside  but he says nothing .

" I made these when you were gone , every time I missed you and couldn't stand it anymore I would start sewing something for you . It made me feel like I was doing something useful for you ."

He just looks at her and he has tears in his eyes.

" Well , open the rest of the box ."

" Sansa it's not a box more like a trousseau , " he jokes .
