Dany and Oberyn

What had started out as some flirtation and a way to kill time had over several  months grown into a full blown affair . Every time Oberyn was to leave back to Dorne , some excuse was made by either Dany or Oberyn as to why he had to stay . Oberyn was a breath of fresh air to Dany . She had never felt so light and carefree . Oberyn had injected warmth into her life when she so desperately needed it .

Rae seemed to take to Oberyn too . He did not degrade Jon in front of her , although Oberyn had made it abundantly clear he couldn't stand Jon , or his parents .They had developed their own independent relationship . Rae liked Oberyn simply because he made her mother happy . When Dany was happy everything was better . Oberyn made Dany laugh , Rae could not remember a time when she had heard her mother laugh so much . She knew her father was not a jovial person , Oberyn was the exact opposite of her father . Rae began to think that maybe her father leaving had not been the worst thing that could have happened to her mother .

Oberyn had initially come to Kings Landing because in truth he wanted to make trouble for that bastard of Lyanna and Rhaegars . Oberyn was shocked to learn the base born Barbarian had already confessed to his wife . He even had the gall to run back to the Stark girl leaving his wife and daughter . What was it about these Targaryen men and those Stark women ? This wasn't as dramatic as the betrayal his dear sister and his neice and nephew suffered but Dany was hurting . He hated Rhaegar but his sister did not think highly of him either , he had come to find out . Dany was an exciting , beautiful woman and Queen to boot . What Oberyn thought would be a casual fling to help Dany get over her broken heart had unexpectedly turned into more . Was it perhaps that he had grown old and now he wanted to stop his whoring ways and find something meaningful ? Every time he thought about going back to
Dorne his heart rejected the notion . Dany was so easy , so easy to be with , so easy to love . The realization hit him at once , he was in love with Dany.
