The Proposal

Wedding Guests

A few months passed . Sansa had been confined to a wheelchair now and was deteriorating rapidly . Robb was now 18 snd Joanna was 16 . Bran had seen a vision that Sansa should wait so that was the only reason she had waited for the marriage .
She wanted to walk down the aisle with Robb so she had been conserving her energy.

Shockingly Dany had agreed to come . She was going to bring along Rae and Oberyn . Sansa had apparently written letters to Dany and somehow convinced her to let the children get to know one another , also Joanna had wanted Rae to be there for her wedding . So Dany , Rae , Oberyn , Tyrion and Shae were going to come . Brienne and Jaime had been in Winterfell for weeks .

Jon was beyond excited to see his daughter . He was also nervous in how his children would get along .
He had received a raven from Tyrion informing them that they were all coming for the wedding . He had also requested a meeting between the Starks , King Bran ,Queen Daenerys , Princess Rhaella and himself .
Jon did not know what to make of it . But he did view the attendance of Dany and Rae as a positive thing . He had tried repeatedly to get in touch with either Rae or Dany but his efforts were firmly rejected .

This was to be expected . His fervent hope was that the children develop a familial bond . He knew it would take a lot of time and patience , but he felt that Joanna could be helpful in the siblings forming a connection .

When he had mentioned Rae to Robb he had said Rae was invited because of Joanna . Sansa had chimed in and stated that she hoped that Robb would try to make an effort with Rae because she was his sister . Robb had pointedly stated that they only shared a sire . But that he would make an effort just to make Sansa and Joanna happy .

Jon had to accept whatever he could get . Robb's anger was mercurial . One day he seemed fine , the next day he was full of anger . He overheard him one day talking to Little Sam about possibly losing Sansa and Jon's heart broke thinking of his son losing his mother .  He prayed to the Gods to give him strength , to give Robb strength and to give Sansa health . They did not seem to be listening .

The next day Jon was shocked .

Jon was shocked to see Dany walking into the gates of Winterfell . She had arrived unannounced and alone .
She saw Jon but simply nodded . She asked for permission to see King Bran and Lady Sansa . No formal protocol was followed per Dany's request .

She had a very long meeting with Bran . Jon was waiting outside as Bran had requested to see him after his meeting with Queen Daenerys .

Bran : Jon , Queen Daenerys wanted my promise and written treaty that Robb would not pursue any claim to the Iron Thone . You , Sansa and Robb have to sign the treaty in front of myself and Tyrion and another witness .

Jon: Dany I've told you repeatedley that Robb is not a threat to Rae or you .

Dany : Forgive me if I don't take you at your word . I want everything done formally and openly .

Dany glared at him.
Dany : I would like to meet Lady Sansa and Robb . After all she is the one who extended the invitation.

Jon: Yes of course .

How is Rae ? I've missed her terribly .

Dany : Yes she will be attending the wedding . You can see her then , if that is something she wants . Don't try to impose your will on her . She will not respond to pressure .

Jon : I have no intention to pressurize her .

They both head to Sansa's chambers .
