CHAPTER 41

I gave my assistant my phone, "shatter it to pieces" he was standing beside me, looking confused and dumb. "Do it now!" I ordered. He hit the phone screen on the table, "take out the Sim and destroy it also" I ordered, then he did it. "I'm sorry Bella, I don't want to love you, I have to stay away." I say to myself. My mom asked me to forget about my old life to start afresh. I have to start again, and this time, my parents will be in control.
My father called the office phone "Hello, son, we would be having a family dinner at 7 please come home early" my father said and hung up. All my life, I secretly wished for his love, for him to make me his favorite, to be the best in his sight, but non came to pass, now he wants to make me after himself, I can't loose the opportunity to be with my father as his right hand, and the other reason, I can't say.

   "Gabriel, sit." I said as he came in. "Show me." I ordered. He brought out an envelope,

"Boss, she's fine, but your brother is always with her." I clench my teeth. What's Braden doing with Bella? He gave me some pictures. I feel like touching her face once more, all the picture he brought, Braden is always so close to her. Seems she has been having fun, going to the park together, and both at the coffee shop.
I squeezed all the pictures together, "this is all nonsense!"

My brother has the habit of messing with anything that belongs to Me, all our lives as twins, he gets whatever I want, my parents favored him more, my friends loved him more, teachers and everyone who saw us preferred him more. I won't let him steal Bella. I was still in my thought when Gabriel called. "Boss" I focused my attention on him.

"She got into a fight some days back sir... And she was badly injured."

        "Who had hurt her! Why did you not do anything?" He dropped his face down. "I- i- i-" nothing came out from his mouth more.

       I checked my watch, the time is already at six, I made my way to see her rather than having the family dinner, she have to stay away from Braden.

     I drive my car down town. It's more than an hour drive, no matter how fast I tried to drive.
  I stood by the door, I could not see anything from outside. Aish, I want to call her inside. I wait for a while if luck can bring her outside. It was getting so late, so, I decided to leave. She's coming home now. "Mr-" before she could complete her sentence, I start to scold her.

     "You're so stubborn, coming back home at this time? Bella what is wrong with you? You always create trouble and later! Later you need my help." I sigh, looking at her frowning face."where did you go?" She looked like she was thinking of something.

      "You don't look like you miss me, I missed you so much." she hugged me tightly. I start to recall the pictures Gabriel sent me. My fist clenched tightly.
"You filled up the space. Braden is there for you. All the recent fun you both had, I saw them. Do you miss me that much to fill my space with my twin?"

    She was smiling a while ago, but now her face changed. She pushed me. "What is wrong with you! I thought you left for good, and yet you send someone to monitor me? Are you mad? Flaunting your wealth." She pushed my chest harder, "your brother is right, you're a selfish being."

   "Bella, wait!" I call her, she went in and locked the door. "Go back....I did not disturb you did I?" She went in.

       "Open up... I'm.not done talking to you. What is wrong with you?" I can remember a few digits of her number. I dialed it, the rest, I started to recall. I called her phone, it's switched off.
"Open up!" I called.
"Go back, your family needs you right?" Is she mocking me? She's becoming rude and wide. I hear engines switch on, the car is turning to leave, this must be the person who had dropped her, it's my brothers car. I entered my and started the engines... I have to teach him a lesson.
