LOVE THE WAY I AM

CHAPTER 18

       I Woke up, how did I end up on my bed. I never know the road to my bed?

       I opened the bathroom door and got in, picked a tissue to wipe blood from my nose while looking at the mirror... I haven't had a good look at myself for the past few days. I touched my cheek bone. 

      I'm so tired of living, this drug addiction turned me so into a monster and still, I can't do without it. When I think of stopping, I crave for more, my mother will be so sad when she finds out I do drugs.

I wash my face with the running water and sighed... It's already so late.

       Coming out from my room, I meet the freckles girl looking at me with a different expression. She stared at me like she wanted to use a dagger to tear through me.

        I strode to the kitchen "don't you get tired weirdo?"

  "Mr Richard, you do drugs?"

      I was quiet, I pick an apple and a knife. Started to dig through the middle with the knife.

        "Mr Richard...?" She's getting on my nerves don't you think?

         I focused my gaze on the apple and made a fine circle in the middle.
     
         "Bella, remember we signed an agreement to live together, i told you to never interfere in my personal life didn't I? And you also signed."

       "But you used me, what if I got caught?"

      I sighed. "I sent you, because you can't be caught, you look like a dummy, which police would want to search you? plus, you were caring teddy bears... Is that so hard to understand?" I rolled my eyes and shaked my head.

        "Me! What do you mean? You're insulting me! See Mr Richard, I'll go to the police station to report you, it's my duty as a good citizen"

        I know she can't, she's so scared to do that. I sit on the kitchen cabinet. "Bella, this is you..." I point at the apple. "If you tell anyone about the drugs, I'll bore a hole in your face." I say.

      "I'm warning you. Drug case is never a simple case, don't send me to hell or I'll drag you along" I say. It's a joke, I Know she doesn't have the guts to tell on me, she's involved.

       "Then I want to leave..." She said then turn to the door and walked out.

        I thought she made a joke, I Still sit relaxed. In a while, she was a ready with all her things. She came to me. "Take your spare keys." She dropped them.

      I never beg anyone, i just want to help her but it seems she's too holy, she can leave.

     "Bye Bella..." I say.

       She turned to me "Mr Richard, you'll never go free. I'll call the police as soon as I leave here" she said.

     "Don't joke with that Bella" I say. "Leave calmly or I'll do something really stupid." I say with a different tone.

       "Bruno is better than you. you're a drug addict, crazy and so hard to understand. He's better even though-"

       "He's a rapist?" I Help her complete. "Isn't it?" I asked with a smirk.

        She wiped her eyes and turned away. "I hope the police finds where you hide the drugs"

     I feel like choking her, I hold her hand. "Bella, stay here, I'll take care of you" I had no idea how that word came out of my mouth.

        "Leave me!" She yelled. I still hold her tightly. "Leave me..." I drag her close to my self and hug her. I really do not want to leave alone, even though I lie to myself that I'm better alone. She was so calm.

     After the night she helped me clean my wound, I want to also do something good for her. I feel a connection between us, like she is the person to listen to all my problems, the only person I can tell about myself. I feel so comfortable to tell her about me, how I became like this and why.

        I huggd her small body for a while before saying... "Let's go inside, I want to tell you something..."

      "What is it?" She asked softly.

       "It's about me." I answered.
