Chapter 45:

    ★★BELLA★★

  'Just another bad dream, I won't believe it. My mind is playing a small Trick. Not my new job Hehe.' My mind convinced. All the other sales girls hands were over their mouth, to hold them from bursting out laughter. Kelly was more, she continued calling my name from her stinky mouth, attaching curse words to my name, making me feel more low.
I'm worst than mockery itself now. I closed my eyes tightly, a big drop of tears fall down my eyes. I can now see the world laughing at me, how foolish I've been all my life. I really want to hide under a veil all my life, never come outside, stay locked in a room all my life. I walked miserably home with my head down and continuously kicking stones on the floor been absent minded. Reaching the gate of my house I sigh sadly before raising my hands to the sky,  "C'mon Jesu's,  a girl's life can't be this worst!" I wailed. This is a job I found after two days of pure hard work from my feet and now look what happened, I'm cursed. How come my whole world start to crash like This.
I opened the door and got in. Seeing the empty house, I now miss my home mate, he's always sitting at the chair close to the door, watching films because I thought he was jobless. His beautiful voice always telling me to come in that he never locks the door.
I dropped my bag on the floor, crashed on the chair, thinking about my life when I hear a knock at the door.
It was my younger step sister, Betty. Why would she ever knock at my door? "Bella, mother wants to see you." She said and walked away awkwardly like she never speaked to me. I quickly changed from my work outfit to a casual dress, using a brush to comb my hair fall. I walked outside to see what she wanted. Walking to her house, I get a phone call, it's from Brad. "Hello Bella, how are you?" He asked. He sounded enthusiastic.
"I'm OK..." I grinned while saying, I can't tell him I lost my job, he would Also feel I'm cursed. "What are you doing now Bella? It should be around break for you right? K. I'll come to pick you up." He said. I looked at the time on my watch, its really break.
"No need, I'll have lunch here." I replied, making him startled, just anyone would understand I'm hiding something. "Just wait, I will be there sooner." He said and hung up.
I didn't have the opportunity to tell him in home, what if he goes there? I quickly dialed his number and called him. "I just got home, hehe. Do me good by picking me up here." I tell him.
"OK then." Having Waiting for him at the gate, he came quicker. Lisa can wait with whatever she has to say.

         The coffee shop:
"Are you not eating?" He asked. I am out of this world when his voice sounded in my ear. Where do I have fourteen thousand to pay back what I never took? He snapped his fingers and draw my attention, "Hello...! Bella, what wrong?"
"Nothing." I said smiling forcefully.
He put his hand on mine, looking into my eyes. "Is there anything bothering you really?"
"No, I'm- I'm. I'm fine..." I say withdrawing my hands from his, using them to wipe my face. "Brad, I told you. I don't like it when you hold my hands, don't do this next time." I sigh.
I took a spoon full and ate it. Lemme eat while I still laugh, my life is a mess. Been myself, alot of people at stepped on me, I am trash! He was watching me eat, I buried my head to his from his gaze. This Face... No one should see.

     "Do you know who is among the highest business men in the country is?" He asked laughing. "No. Who is?" I asked, still with my head down. "Lemme tell you. You're roomie is. Ten days. Ha!" He laughed like he was going crazy the next minutes. "In just ten days, he became this god, the one he has always wanted to be, the one he could kill to be. The one my mother always wanted. He finally made them proud. Who will I make proud now, what will I do? He did all" he said. I can only see pure bitterness in his heart, his face is blackened now. Now his eyes is more dime, and an unusual stare he has.
"You're lucky in your own way too..." I added. "Even better than me, you still have a family who is always there for you." I tell him, "and me, who wants me?" I asked. "I do, but do you want me too? Are you here for me? Will you always be here for me?" He questioned, his words gave me more shock. He hold my wrist tight in his hand... "Bella?" He said, trying to force a smile in front when I can clearly see how frustrated he is. He brought out a case from his chest pocket, opened it and brought out a small diamond piece bracelet, forcing it in my hand, "Bella, do you like it?" He said with a pissed off voice.
"I can't accept th-" I was about to speak when he interrupted, " Tell me id you like it only". Still holding my hand, he put his knees on the floor, from left to right. "Bella, i-" I can't hear that rest of his words... My mind is far gone, thinking a lot of things in one time. "Bella, pls, I thought I was gay, never knew I would fall for the opposite sex."
