LYNN

I couldn't believe my eyes.

Was it some sort of cruel joke? Vixen's ghost hasn't visited in a while.
Maybe only I could see her.

But then I looked at everyone else, and they could see her too. She wasn't a ghost.

It was my sister Vixen in the flesh.

"Who are you?" the judge asked in awe.
"You already asked me that," Vixen laughed. Even her voice was different. From the few times I met Calla, I knew she had a much lighter voice than Vixen's.

"So you are the real Vixen Kent?" The judge asked for confirmation.

"Yes I am," Vixen answered.

Everyone gasped.

"I don't believe you!" Luke yelled. Vixen went closer to him.
"That's typical of you, Luke," she said out loud. "You didn't believe me when I told you that Jenna here lied about me. You only believed it after 'my ghost' forced her to call you and tell you the truth!"

Luke was speechless.

"How did you know that?" Jenna asked.
"Became I planned it all," Vixen shrugged. "I've planned this since the day my sister died."

"How?" she asked. "How did you fake your death?"

"I didn't," Vixen said. "At least I didn't plan to. It all happened so fast that I couldn't control it."

The night of Luke's party

VIXEN

I was so angry at Luke. I can't believe he replaced me with Jenna already.

He didn't even listen to my warning. He'll surely end up in some serious trouble.

I couldn't go home either. I fought with my parents again, so they were the last people I wanted to see. They just didn't understand me.

So I just decided to follow the sidewalk to wherever it took me. I ended up in a dark alley. I felt uncomfortable so I turned around to walk back.

That's when I saw him. His piercing eyes. His evil grin. His wretched face.
I knew who he was.
It was The Phantom.

I knew because I had been researching him ever since my sister was killed by him four years ago. I saw him that day he attacked her. His face was literately engraved in my memory.

"You shouldn't have pursued me," he growled under his breath. He didn't even give me time to run. He pressed a cloth against my nose and I lost consciousness.

When I woke up again I was sitting on a chair, with my hands and legs tied up. The Phantom was sitting in front of me.

"You see now? I didn't want to hurt you Vixen, but you have pushed me to my limits," he said.

"You're a lunatic!" I screamed at him.

"I see you found my old files in my hideout. You are one smart girl. What will I do with you?" he said to himself. He stroked my face gently. He had gloves on, and their cold rubbery touch made me shiver.

"I think I'll kill you," he said after a long deliberation. "I just have to go get your cleansing bath ready."

I glared at him while he walked out of the room.
When he was almost at the door he stopped and looked at me.
"Won't you beg me to let you go?" he asked.
"I will never beg you," I spat at him.

He stared at me for a while, and then he left the room.
The second he left, I started trying to free myself. I fidgeted with the rope until my hands came a little loose. Then I was able to slip my hand through the ropes and free them.
