(via mail)
Dear Luigi,
Are you going to be a businessman or a doctor? Update mo ako ah! By the way, iyan ang picture ko wearing a white coat! Haha. Last day ko na ring isuot itong uniform ng school. Sana mabasa mo itong sulat ko as soon as possible...
Ingat ka palagi diyan! Watashi wa, anata o aishitemasu!
Love,
Larah
WHO'S THIS GIRL?!
It's for the tenth time already! How did she know my email address? How did she know that my name is Luigi Anthony Fajano?!
"Ohayo gozaimasu!" Yumi greeted me as I opened the door for her.
"Ohayo!" I replied.
"Watashi wa anata ni nanika o iwanakereba naranai," she murmured.
"What do you want to tell me?"
Yumi can speak English but not so well, but she speaks Italian, Spanish, and Korean fluently. She's a very talented daughter of the Ono family. In fact, she's their only daughter and granddaughter of her grandpa and grandma. They love her so much, and so am I.
"Well, there will be... a... occassion..." she murmured.
"AN occassion, my lady," I told her.
"Well, there will be an occassion. And, I want you to meet my friends, especially Kurisu and Nika."
"Sure, at what time?"
"At 7 PM tomorrow. I hope you can attend."
"Yeah. Sure!"
I hugged her tightly and then she left already.
I think she's the right girl for me.
"Should I delete my account?! This girl is irritating me! How could she tell me that she loves me?! Is she my girlfriend or something?!" I shouted as I took a bath.
I will be with my family this afternoon. Well, they told me that we would be back to the Philippines next month. I thought we would be here for a year but I was surprised when they said it was time to study in the Philippines with my fiancee. She needs to study Filipino so that we could have transactions with the Filipino companies.
That girl... named Larah... She's also from the Philippines, right?
"Lui, are you ready to go?" my Mom asked me. She looked worried about me.
"Yes, I'm ready," I replied without hesitation. "It's time for Yumi and I to be together and arranged our marriage."
"Are you saying that... you want to get married in the Philippines?" Grandpa asked me.
"Of course. If she wants us to get married here in Japan, then so be it. But I want to get back to the country where I was born."
"Sure, Hijo!" Grandpa told me.
