CHAPTER TEN

Chapter Ten

MY day blew silently. Wala kasing Ivy na madaldal sa paligid ko. She's absent because she's probably tired because of her debut last night. I am too, halos abutin ako ng ala una saka palang nakatulog but I decided to still go to school.

I entered the university and goes on my first class in silence, nakakabinging katahimikan kasi wala naman akong ibang kaibigan dito kundi sya lang. Gayunpaman, pumasok ako sa first class ko nang tahimik parin.

Umayos ang upo ko nang dumating na ang una naming professor. He was about to start discussing when a three female students interrupted.

"Excuse me sir, may sasabihin lang sana kami."

Our professor nodded so they entered the room.

"U-h, goodmorning students! We're here to say that who among you here are members of Glee Club, kindly proceed to the Glee Club room for some announcement. Thank you!"

Afterwards, five of us on our class goes out. I directly made my way to Glee Club Room. From the nursery building to the corridor, there are three buildings for other courses facing the covered court which is the entrance of our university, few more pathways before the deans office followed by the Science Lab then the Clubs are found behind.

"Goodmorning! Thank you for responding for our meeting students!" Gleya, the president of the club express her gratitude.

"This meeting is held because of some announcement. At dahil papalapit na ang August which is buwan ng wika, our university will be having an opening program at the first week of the month." She paused. "Sa bawat prayers or any part of the program na may kanta, ofcourse tayo ang kakanta nyan."

The vice president, Paul take over. "Kagaya ng sabi ni Ms. Gleya, tayo ang kakanta that's why, we will be having our practice starting tomorrow afternoon. Kaya mamaya pagkauwi nyo, magpaalam na kayo sa mga parents nyo dahil expected na na matatagalan ang uwi nyo."

They added few reminders and announcements before the meeting had done. Like the unexpected meeting, when I turned around to go out, I saw Zac sitting at the last row of the room. It was unexpected! Hindi ko aakalaing miyembro rin sya ng Glee club! He shifted on his seat and looked at me. I looked away and quickly made my way out because of uneasiness.

When lunch came, I goes to the cafeteria alone. This time I realized how I miss Ivy, nakakamiss rin pala ang kaingayan nya. Well siguro nga ganoon kapag nasanay ka na sa presensya ng isang tao, ultimo kunting pagkawala nya, mamimiss mo na agad sya.

I ordered my lunch then eat silently and comfortably not until someone grabbed the chair across me, as I look upwards, its Zac holding a tray of foods.

"May I?" Pagpapaalam nya na makisalo sa table ko kahit na nakaupo na naman sya.

Tss, do I have a chance to say no?

I only nodded because I started to feel uncomfortable, minutes by minutes I observed how do I act. Maingat akong kumakain at binabantayan na huwag gumawa ng anumang maling kilos sa kabila ng kabang lumulunod sa sistema ko.

"Where's Ivy?" He asked, broking the deafening silence between us.

"Pagod y-yata."

"I see."

I continued eating and when I look at him, he's looking at me which made me nervous, ngunit may kakaiba rin akong naramdaman sa dibdib ko, bumabayo ng malakas ang puso ko habang naalala ang nangyari kagabi, I remembered how he told the group that I'm his girlfriend.
