The Christmas holidays where approaching quickly. I had to pack in so much extra study time for all the tests I had coming up. I had to do a 3 page essay on potions and there effects on the human body, a short answer exam in tranfiguration and successfully preform accio charm.
I had already packed my trunk up and was ready to leave. Originally I was going to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because my parents had some unspecified business with unspecified people, but they changed my mind since we where going on a surprise trip.
As I walked down the stairs to the common room i was stopped by a particular girl.
"Pansy" I snarled
"Hey" she sneered
"I just wanted to let you know that I've been invited to the Malfoy manor Christmas banquet" she smirked. "Have you received your invitation yet"
"No"i sighed.
"Oh. How funny that is" and with that she left back up into our dorm.
"Nitwit" I sighed and continued to walk down the stairs. I was almost to the door when I was knocked to the floor.
"Theo, Blaise get off of me" I giggled.
They both got up and Blaise offered his hand to help me stand up.
"Sorry it's just we haven't talked in a while"he smiled.
"Yeah, I guess we havent" I returned the smile.
I felt a cold grip on my hand.
"Draco you ready to go" i asked.
Me and Draco where going to catch the train home together, since our parents where meeting us at the station for a dinner all together.
"Yep" he smiled
I gave Theo and Blaise one last hug and me and Draco slipped out the common room and towards platform 9 3/4.
He helped me load my trunk into the overhead compartment. All of a sudden when we where strapping in the trunk the train came to a fast start. I fell over at the sudden movement and so did Draco. When i opened my eyes I felt a warm body pressed against mine.
"Get off me. Geeze how do you weigh" I laughed.
I looked up to meet his steel grey one to find his face had turned a light shade if pink. I then realised how close our faces where. I felt my cheeks start to heat up. I scrambled up from ontop if me and help oit a hand.
"Erm, sorry" he said with a sheepish smile.
I gladly took his hand and we sat down across from each other.
------mini time skip------
We hopped off the train and went to go look for our parents. Of course it was easy to spot them by the vibrant colour of Lucious's hair.
"Y/N" i heard my parent yell.
I quickly ran over to them and hug them as tight as i could. I looked iver my fathers shoulder to see Narcissa giving Draco a small peck on the cheek and Lucious a firm handshake.
My parent and me walked over to meet their family. Narcissa bent down and gave me a light hug and Lucious held out his hand which i cautiously shook.
"How has school been you two." My mother beamed.
"Very exiting" I smiled.
We walked into a room at the end if a platform, it held a single fireplace and a bucket if floo powder. Great I hate travelling by floo powder.
Lucious got into the fireplace first.
"Diagon Ally."he chanted.
Soon after both my parent and Narcissa had been engulfed into green flames, leaving me and Draco in the room.
"Ladies first" h smiled and with that I stepped into the fireplace.
" Diagon Ally" I chanted. And before I disappeared into the green flames Draco met me with a wink.
I stumbled out if the fire place, coughing from the amount if door that had been put into my lungs. I felt an arm quickly yank me out if the way of the fire place right before Draco tumbled out.
I looked up to see Lucious.
"Thankyou sir" I sighed.
And with that we where off looking for a nice place to eat dinner. We ended up just going to th leaky cauldron.
I sat next to Draco and acriss from Narcissa and my mother. Our fathers where at either end of table.
For dinner I just had some cottage pie and pumpkin juice. Me and Draco just talked about school and quiddich. He even had the nerve to bring up Pansy.
All if a sudden both if our mothers spoke up.
"SSotheres actually a reason me and Narcissa organised this dinner." She beamed.
"Me and M/N Have decided that you should come stay at the manor this holidays and attend our Christmas banquet." Chimed Narcissa.
