I took my place on the field, mounting my broom. I looked up to see Draco give me a determined smile, which I returned. I them looked directly across from me to see Anthony, who gave me a smirked and a wink. I turned my head away quickly hiding the emerging blush on my face.
"Now I want a nice clean match" said Madam Hocch stepping up to the trunk"from all of you" she said eyeing the slytherins.
She carefully and slowly opened the box and with that two bludgers came shooting out the box.
"Madam Hooch releases the quaffel and the game begins" I could hear Lee Jordan yell over the chaos. "Slytherin takes position of the ball"
I flew between the chasers and the headed towards our goal, making sure they didn't get hit. At we got closer to our hoops I spotted Oliver and a bludger. I remembered something that flint had said to me earlier today.
"If you see a budget knock out Wood"
So with all of my might I raised my hand swinging my bat. The budget was sent directly towards Oliver. It hit him square in the chest causing him to topple to the ground.
"Nice one Lux" I heard Flint yell as he soared towards the now unguarded hoops.
"And Flint scores" Lee screamed through the microphone "ten points to Slytherin.
The game went on. It was 60:40 in Slytherins favor. The wind rushed through my hair as I soared through the air.
I paused for a moment to catch my breath. I as I looked down on the players fighting over the quaffel I felt a sharp pain near my ear. A bludger sped past my ear causing it to have a constant ringing in it. I snapped my head around to see a smirking Anthony.
"Seriously sparks" I yelled in disbelief.
"Dam Lux, I though we where in a first name basis" she laughed.
"Was that really necessary" I snapped.
"It really was" he winked
"Ughhh" I groaned. "Do you ever stop being such a lover boy"
"Aww y/n thankyou" he smiled dramatically putting his hand one this heart.
All of a sudden I heard painful scream. I snapped my head around to see flint get knocked to the ground by a bludger.
"Seriously y/n" I heard Draco yell "how could you screw up so badly"
That hurt.
"Say that again Malfoy, and I'll put a bludger in you face" Anthony spat.
"Ooo mudblood, has a tounge" he smirked flying his broom over to the two of us.
"That it" Anthony snapped. Holding up his bat a bludger headed in his direction.
I see the fear grow on Dracos face. Anthony pulled his arm back. He swung it towards the bludger, causing it to speed directly towards Draco. It hit him square in the chest. He spiralled down towards the pitch. Everything went blurry. Draco was my best friend and another one of my sorta friends just sent him plumiting to his death.
I heard madam Hooch blow her whistle, a dig in for all players to return to the pitch. I glided down, Anthony following behind me.
"Since the slytherins seeker is injured, the game will be on hold until he is able to play again" she stated.
I heard the groand fron the croud and the players. Draco please be okay.
