aubrielle was currently in her apartment which she spends most of her time in. technically not by choice, she's just always busy in her home of hers.

her faux blonde hair with her natural brown roots peaking through, tossed up in a messy bun. her eyebrows furrowed with stress and concern as she slowly brings her breathing to close as normal.

"just breath" she whispers to herself, leaning against the bathroom sink. both hands holding herself up on the counter "you've done this before" she reassured herself, but that didn't remove any stress or worry.

she shakily brought her hands to the plastic stick. a digital version, this time. she closed her eyes taking yet another deep breath and flipped it over. she swallowed and exhaled her breath as she opened here eyes, reading what the familiar stick says "pregnant" she reads, her heart dropping slightly.

"I'm pregnant" she confirms, to believe "again" she breathed out

on the other side of the door, a voice was heard "did it knock some fucking sense into you?" hailey's voice announced, making sure aubrielle would've heard.

"hailey!" nicolette scolded on the same side as her. nicole's voice became soothing, knocking on the door softly "elle? can you come out now?" she pleaded

aubrielle sighed and wiped the few tears that just began to roll down her cheeks. she opened the door greeted by her two good friends; nicolette and hailey. she handed nicole the pregnancy test and hailey quickly peered over.

"we been knew" hailey laughed, receiving a glare from nicolette to shut up, and an eye roll from aubrielle.

"elle" nicole softly spoke, looking at her "I really think you should call him" she suggested, hoping she'd accept.

that wasn't aubrielle though, especially when it came to men. with her rough past and her claim on being a good mother. she shook her head, making her way between the two speaking under her breath "I've done it once, I can do it a second time"

aubrielle walked into the living room away from the two. her only goal was to ignore them.

like that would work.

they're both not the type to just drop something, especially if that something is important.

"elle, listen to us" hailey spoke with a stern tone, walking right behind her. "look, I totally support that independent shit but with two fucking chilDREN!" she quickly realized her pitch of voice, widening her eyes before lowering as she spoke her next sentence "I've never done it but it doesn't take many brain cells to fucking know that with two kids it's going to be hella hard"

"she's right, elle" nicolette agreed, speaking softly "we're not always going to be around to help" she explained "that's why you should really consider giving him a call" she insisted, once again.

aubrielle rolled her eyes, before they softened on her sleeping son. a small smile appeared on her face.

a clear of a throat sounded from nicolette, as she pulled out a crumpled piece of paper. a paper which aubrielle recognized straight away.

"I thought I threw that away" she spoke, anger clear in her voice but her teeth gritted keeping it down.

"you did" nicolette replied "but I got it out when you told me about the connection, he deserves to know" she explained
