"yes! elle, because he deserves to fucking know!" hailey yelled
"jo-jo, keep your voice down" nicolette spoke "and elle, he agreed to meet up obviously he wants to talk to you"
"okay, sure. but he doesn't know what I'm talking about, right?" aubrielle turned her head to hailey
"no, I just called and said you wanted to meet up" hailey explained
"the fuck, I never said I wanted to meet up with him!" aubrielle snapped
"well, you can tell him that when you see him tonight" nicolette said "I'll watch james so no worries there"
"or you can take him to see his father" hailey smirked
"jo-jo, don't" nicolette insisted
"she needs to know he has a right" hailey said "bad bee out and she ain't afraid to buzz!" she yelled, referring to herself
"she also is quite buzzed" nicolette said "how much did you drink?"
"about three or four cans" hailey shrugged "we're good though" she held up an okay sign with her hand
"hailey, you started drinking a little more than an hour ago" nicolette sighed

"okay whatever, when am I meeting him" aubrielle asked
"at 5pm and at his house" nicolette said
"that's like in three hours" aubrielle groaned
"then you better start getting ready!" hailey yelled "mentally" she added
"no fucking kidding" she sighed, picking up her son "wish mommy luck?" she completely softened her face and voice
"babababa" james babbled
"momma" she repeated, with a small smile on her face

"still hasn't said his first word?" nicolette, gently asked
"no, but some take up to three years so I'm not worried" aubrielle explained "I just want to be there" she added
"I would too" nicolette admitted, sitting on the couch next to her while hailey wandered off into the bathroom
"look, elle. I know you're nervous but he really does deserve to know he has a kid" nicolette said "and that you're pregnant"
"so i have to tell him, and then i can leave?" she asked
"well, you got to give him a chance to answer. to see if he wants to be apart of both of their lives" nicolette explained "but don't be upset when he asks for time, okay?"
"excuse me? time? why the hell would he need time?" aubrielle questioned
"i mean, i would. imagine just finding out one random day that you have one kid and on your way to two? and you had absolutely no clue" nicolette explained "put that in perspective"
